You either pray for the person if they are not born-again and may the Lord's will be done. Should He choose to heal or comfort this person by using the believers' hands, so be it. No need to go to another religion for guidance. Once you open the door to non-biblical stuff, the enemy will waltz right in. I would also suggest that maybe you could use the opportunity to give them the Gospel rather than subscribing to falsehoods and dangerous occultic methodologies.

You either accept and receive what the Word of God has to say about false religions/philosophies/doctrines of demons or you don't, at which case you may suffer the consequences.

We as Christians are to be a light in the dark places of this world and by us fraternizing, incorporating or living out the heathen practices we are supposed to be against, we are only causing confusion. We are supposed to be set apart, holy, a royal priesthood, and a holy convocation. We need to remember the Scriptures and the examples set before us regarding God's people getting too curious with paganity and idolatry and false doctrines and where it could land you, not in a very good place.
