Its dark and I'm lonely and broken inside
Abused and embarressed with no place to hide
But there in the darkness there is healing and light
When You reach down and touch me this glorious night!

Its light and I'm desperate to flee from my pain
I try hard to hide it but I'm going insane
But there in the light there is comfort and love
When You come with Your glorious grace from above

Its rushed and I'm stressed, I cant keep with the pace
Theres never a minute for me in this race
But there in the rush I find glorious peace
When Your touch on my life makes anxiety cease

Its the world and I'm shocked at all that I see
Evil and violence with nowhere to flee
But there in the world You wipe the tear from my eye
And prepare me to meet You, one day in the sky!

Its that day and I'm hearing the sound of the shofar
My heart skips a beat for my time here is over
I feel myself rising and I'm filled with Your grace
And joy overflows as I look at Your face!

Its the feast and I'm dining with the church and my King
And the sight of this awesome display makes me sing
Jesus my Savior so perfect and Holy
Forever I will worship and dwell in Your glory!

I got up and found paper and wrote down the verses in my mind :idunno Thats the whole extent of my involvement!! Oh, I can't wait to see His face! I know it will be shining brighter than the sun, but I think we will be able to see his features through the brightness. Oh, that will be glory! :yeah!

As always, your poems touch me way down to my toenails! They describe so many of my own feelings and pain.

But Praise God, it's not about our pain and just leave it there. Noooo! There is joy, true joy and peace even as the tears fall. When we're in Christ, He's in us, we're not alone. He alone can calm the storms in our lives. He alone can turn sorrow into joy.

When we're too weak to even crawl to Him, He is running to us! Actually, all we need do is whisper His name and there He is.

Jesus said before He left to go back to Heaven, that He's leaving us with the Comforter, the Holy Spirit. And what a comfort He is!
