"The Greatest Story Ever Told" is excellent! I include it in Christmas cards and on plates of Christmas cookies and all over during the holiday season.

The link I included has 4 Christmas tracts listed. You can click on them to read them. I am familiar w/all but Humbug, and they are good.

Oh, wait! You don't want Christmas tracts...sorry.

My favorites are "One Way", "Charlie's Ants", "The Accident", and "The Fool."

Here is a link to the general tracts so you can read them for yourself.

I think its called "Are Catholics considered Christians?" Very easy to read ( a child could comprehend it too so it would be great for them). Also I think its called "Why is Mary Crying?" That's a good one on Catholicism too.

Edit: Found it! Its called Are Roman Catholics Christians http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0071/0071_01.asp

Thanks for the tract information! I have another question now. I'm thinking of ordering some of "This Was Your Life" (before Christmas) but I'm wondering if it's one of the controversial ones that I've heard about. :scratch I don't think it is, but I wanted to check with all of you first. :hug

Controversial:scratch I think that's one of their most requested & well known tracts. I've read it a half dozen times.. I didn't see anything wrong with it:idunno

Oh alright. Just checking. I didn't think there was anything wrong with it either, but I've read that some people have problems with certain tracts. Thanks. :hat

The Death Cookie is another one for Catholics. I am not sure how good it is though.

Some Chick tracts are good, some should be left unread
I was already saved when I found a chick tract but it helped pull me back into discipleship,
many of the Catholic tracts helped pull me out of the Catholic church and encouraged me to find a good Bible church.
When I was reading them I could see through the nutty off the wall parts and even the conspiracy tin hat issues, but I knew the gospel is truth, that is what's important, comics are still a big time seller
I have my top ten favorites that are scripturally true and gospel centered

A good tract must have:

1. God coming to earth in the flesh as Jesus
2. Jesus' (blood sacrifice) crucified for the Sin(s) of man
3. Jesus resurrected to new life
4. Repentance - deciding to turn from Sin to trust in Jesus' crucifixion (His blood sacrifice) and resurrection for salvation
5. Propitiation - God is satisfied with the Blood of Jesus totally covering your sin. (no need for doing anything to obtain or maintain salvation)
6. A suggested sinners prayer - Turning to Jesus and accepting His sacrifice in total trust for personal (not corporate) salvation. (no works or additional acts for salvation)

The only offense in these tracts is the gospel, which is offensive to the religious lost

the Christmas season is the best time of year for passing out gospel tracts, people are more open to hearing about our Christian Faith during Christmastime than at any other time of the year

pray for God to give you all boldness and a passion for evangelism, and then go out there into the mission field and share the Good News of Jesus Christ to your friends, neighbors, co-workers, ect

Ambassadors for Christ"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The love of Jesus is not a denomination, it is not based on a manmade religion. In heaven we'll be the Bride of Christ, no division for we'll all be Christlike

The righteous are the Body of Christ, we are all connected like a lamp to light. For Jesus is Love and we should display His Love radiating from us each day

On earth we are His hands and His feet, in love we are to reach out to those in need. Truly alot of Christians are limited in their resources, but giving all we can for our Lord is recorded in Heaven's books, and Rewarded at the Judgement seat

For when we give unto others we are really giving unto Him. Showing kindness by giving a meal to a homeless person, volunteering in a shelter for the poor. When you do acts of kindness to anyone, you are also doing it to our Savior Jesus Christ

We are to be the Lord's Ambassadors in this world. We are commanded to take the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ and share it with everyone around us. Will you answer God's call and be one of His Ambassadors, taking His Light into this dark world ?

Matthew 25:35 - For I was hungry and you gave me food to eat, i was thirsty and you gave me water to drink, i was a stranger and you gave me shelter !!!
