And so, if I don't witness to people at work or neighbors or friends just for the sake of witnessing, but rather just treat people fairly, as I have been commanded to do - "Love your neighbor as yourself" - and do it with the knowledge that Jesus is the sole reason for my existence, and I acknowledge that everyday throught prayer, then, what will happen to me?

Am I not good enough to be in the Book of Life? Am I not worthy?

Not trying to be argumentative, just lookinig for opinions.

Matthew 22:36-40 (New International Version)

36"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Do you love them enough that you don't want to them spend eternity in the burning lake of fire?

How do they know why you act the way you do? Have they asked you if you are a Christian? And even if they do know you are a Christian and are impressed by it, how is that going to save them?

My family know I'm Christian. My friends know I'm Christian. I have had several discussions with them. If I am asked, I will talk about all things Jesus. I would never deny, deny, deny, nor am I a doubting Thomas.

No matter who asks!

I leave the all out evangalism to those much more suited to it. I just serve people, day in and day out. Unless God calls me to do just that in the future. Which he might. His will, not mine.

However, not to say that I don't witness. My last discussion was this past weekend with my daughters boyfriend. A seed was planted. Don't know what kind of fruit is going to come out though.

The fact of the matter is, it's just plain HARD to witness sometimes... and more hard for some people than for others. But the more you do it, the more comfortable you become.

Everyone should find some way to witness. I've said it many times, there are some here that excel at witnessing over the net. Keifer post in many message boards, and makes it an active and ongoing goal to reach people through that method. Others excel at debates. I've seen most here that could chew me up at spit me out at witnessing in those aplo threads, but thats their way to witness. All you have to do is read those threads and you'll see who has that calling...

Not everyone was called to witness in the same manner, but we all need to find a way at make it our lifes goal of reaching the lost. I'm not good at some things, but to me, I like booth evangelism. I don't care for door to door, or by phone, and don't do well in posting, but one to one is what works for me.

By all means save some...

Dan~~~>hopes everyone finds their way to help someone see the cross

Bless your heart Dan, you're a loving brother. Here's the whole thing in a nutshell everyone: What God wants from us is our worship of Him and work for Him:

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." (Romans 12:1 KJV)

If we witness when the Spirit provides an opportunity, our efforts are a sweet savor to our Lord whether we produce fruit or not:

"For we are unto God a sweet savor of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:" (2 Corinthians 2:15 KJV)

It's the fact that we're acting as Jesus did and in His behalf that pleases our Lord.
