The joy of life!
reborn and anew
throwing it all around

I am leaving port
gathering provisions
storing motivations
where and why am I going?

Forty days and you shall return
Forty nights and you shall begin to behold
Passing through deep waters is required
The depths are blackness
Your crew is My utterance

I thirst in my want of earth
Yearn for what is nothing
Searching, finding, wanting, despair..
my comfort is my snare

Here come the rocks! hard to port!
flying through the air
crash!, clash!, crushed!
a gaping hole, no way to repair!

no water, no food, no bright shiny flair
scared, maimed, pain, many do stare
no mammon, no security, no endowment
all is bare

Come up hither!
port is coming around
your feet are in need of stable ground
walk off and wait, I'll be around

Sometimes it just is what is in our heart that comes out. Whether it makes any sense to someone else is a different matter. :lol2

This tells of the journey of coming to life with Christ, going through a period of testing where everything is stripped away....this world, our comfort, our money, our security....for some we even have painful physical issues. His word needs to be used like Christ did. When He says we are "done", our faith is refined. Thanks for taking the time to read and respond.
