AMSTERDAM, Netherlands — Gays and lesbians put on their brightest plumage Saturday and a rainbow fleet sailed through Amsterdam's historic canals as the city celebrated its annual Gay Pride festival.
The party drew an estimated 375,000 to 500,000 people and took place in the shadow of a spate of gay-bashing attacks this year which has surprised a city renowned for its tolerance....

How disgusting these Gay Pride Parades are!?! Why can't they just stay in the closet where they truly belong, and not flaunt their disgusting perverse lifestyle around for all straights to see? :rolleyes
That's JMHO.

I saw this on the Tv, the reporter was reporting on the occassion!
She also mentioned a boat that was filled with homosexuals as young as 16, being accompanied by their parents..!!
Discrimination against homosexuals is bad enough, but i wonder how putting on a parade is gon' change anything for them

wow! and to think, Amsterdam (and other cities in Holland) was where the English Puritans fled to avoid religious persecution... what would they say now, I wonder?

This brings back some lyrics.

The Dutch have been consumed by the results of their liberalism, and "tolerance." Just think what it would be like having the Dutch defending a country militarily. Sadly, I have some Dutch ancestry.

was it actual "gay bashing" or expression of an alternate opinion?
i have to wonder. because it seems any level of disagreement is labeled as "homophobic bashing" of some sort.

Probably the same things our founding fathers would say about the gay pride parades and festivals that we have in this country.

If I'm correct on this, the "rainbow" is the symbol that the gays are using. It just hit me that the gays are using one of God's symbol that He gave to us as a promise not to flood the earth again. I have always loved the rainbow because of God's promise, but now, it has been tainted. It just makes me sick. I know that God DOES love these people (gays/lesbians), but really really hates their sin. I just hope the Rapture is soon!!!!
