There would have to be some easy enough way to render the chip inoperable, that is what I would do anyway.
It would be like a bar code that is not scanable, the information would then have to be entered manually. At least nothing would be getting any data from a Licence with a stuffed IC.

allow agents to compile attendance lists at anti-government rallies simply by walking through the assembly.

Why take it along, it's not as though You need Your Licence on You everywhere you go.

This thread does not need to go to the tinfoil shed, but your drivers license does. Let me explain; if you line your wallet compartment that you keep your drivers license, or any other card with RFID like technology embedded, with tinfoil or aluminum foil it will block access from the readers. It will be like it isn't even there. So no one will even know you have "hidden" your data from the scanners unless they stop and search you. When the police, or anyone else for that matter, can stop and search you that way without cause we are all in the deep weeds. But I suspect we will be gone in the rapture before that level of intrusiveness becomes common.

I suspect that the powers that be already thought of that. If all you have to do is line your wallet with aluminum foil to keep the scanners from reading the chip, then the RFID is useless. No, I suspect it's not that simple.

Actually it is that simple. But you have to make sure you have complete coverage, even the edges of the card. The metal foil forms what is known as a simple faraday cage. It cannot be penetrated with radio waves and even if the reader was powerful enough the signal from the RFID chip would not be.

People have been stealing from stores by putting foil over the security tags for a long time. They will do that if they cannot remove the tag in the store first. Or they use foil lined "booster boxes".

In fact this may be the reason we believe the antichrist will demand implanted chips. A card chip is too easy to "hide" from the reader.
