The bible is pretty clear on this one. There will be no confusing the reason people are getting the mark. They will know and acknowledge that it is worship and showing allegiance to the beast.

Besides the chip has some hidden but real flaws. One is the nasty little habit of developing cancer around the implant. Some seem to think its not the problem of the physical chip but the radio waves. If true, that will slow the little animal down a bit. :rolleyes

When my sister and her two children were missing, we were so glad that she had Lojack in her van. The Lojack was activated, but a patrol car has to be nearby to receive the signal. Weeks later, her van was found in Mexico, abandoned. We didn't find my sister and her children until 7 months after that. If they had been ID chipped, we would have found them much, much sooner. So much of the trauma they'd experienced would have been spared. I'm all for chipping a child. It's not the mark until there's a beast, so it just makes sense. Especially in these days where child-trafficking for the sex slave trade is out of control.

I respect and sympathize with your feelings while disagreeing completely with your conclusion. Think, unintended consequences. The acceptance of such "cattle tags" and the profound transfer of power to those who can access it is a far greater threat to everyone as compared to the tunnel vision threat you've experienced as a result of your loved ones misfortune.(No disrespect intended.) I cant think of anything that would empower the beast more and actually lead people to the loss of their souls than the ready acceptance of these chips based on the premise that these arent the mark yet and they can accomplish good things. People of faith should fight against the human use of this technology with everything they have available to them. It is a lot easier for people to accept what people before them have already accepted. Especially, if those people who accepted it were people of faith.

Besides, pots not heroine and it makes people with cancer want to eat and not vomit, so it's always a good thing...right? :thinking

That is my humble opinion on the matter.

Would you accept the chip if the government was passing them out?

No way! I don't trust the government any more than I have to... and that's not much.

The Greek word for 'mark' is 'charagma'. It implies a visible 'etching'.

There may be a 'chip' involved somehow, but allegiance to the AC will be denoted by a visible (and presumably unremovable) marking of the skin. Some kind of tattoo or branding perhaps.

Random thought...After reading another thread here about the crescent moon and star, I'm wondering if it will be the visible "mark".

The chip in and of itself cannot be the mark. I say this because the mark will be something that once you accept it you profess loyalty to the AC. Just having a microchip implanted is not permanent, you could remove it like removing a splinter. If the government required these chips without having to profess loyalty to a person and thus renouncing any faith in Jesus it wouldn't be the MoB, ..... right. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

What the are wroking on now actually is a biomedical chip. It's process involves the chip in it's technology which then is coated with stem cells and gentically altered in which it grows into becoming part of the body monitoring body process from pain to emotion. The biggest crux of it will be for it to attach to the nerves. So yes it maybe able to be removed but depending on how it is handled could actually fuse itself into the workings of the human body. While many feel I will deserve a tin hat for this statement but here is the beginning proof

Scientists at Edinburgh University have successfully developed a technique that allows neurons to grow in detailed patterns on silicon chips. According to Professor Alan Murray, head of Edinburgh University's School of Engineering and Electronics, the development may enable chips to be used to repair damaged nerve tissue or muscle fibers. "This is a small but important step on the path towards the long-term goal of many scientists and medical experts - to develop surgical implants using silicon chips. We can now make silicon chips with circuitry as well as pathways where cells can grow in the body," says Prof. Murray, who led the research.

The technique involves the printing of patterns on the surface of tiny computer chips and then dipping the chips into a patented mixture of proteins. The neurons grow along the patterns printed on the surface. The same technique was also used successfully with stem cells. Scientists hope that down the road, they will be able to grow any type of tissue on a "tailor-made pathway," which can then be implanted into the body.

According to Prof. Murray, another potential area of use is in the development of prosthetic devices. "One of the areas this could be used in is prosthetics - if we can cause cells from damaged tissues to grow where we want. It is going towards the realms of science fiction - there is a definite Incredible Hulk feel about it."

In otherwords it is a computer chip that can be programed linked directly to the nerveous system. If it can be prgroamed it can also be directed to send a massive electrical charge through the system stunning and or killing through direct nerve pathways if it is tampered with after a period of say five minutes 1 day 1 week or howerever long tht said the stunning/pain inflicted could stop all vital organs and or destroy them or send the person in to throws of pain never before lived through and die in that pain.

I will now take my tin hat and will gladly give it back after this becomes reality later
