This is excellent news and I look forward to this microchip being an option when purchasing medication for my mother. Right now, Im fairly sure she does not take the full amounts prescribed by the doctor. There really is no way to be sure, except by her behavior when she misses or skips a dose. This microchip method will help me ensure she is taking the correct dosage each day while Im away at work. Her doctor and I already discussed this possibility. :yeah
It's not liberal or conservative. It's what works to make the life we have better and healthy.
Technology is a wonderful thing when it works and used correctly! :thumb

You may find it helpful for your situation, but I'm sure you do not realize that the tentacles of the healthcare machine are going to become quite a different beast as it gets more and more observatory control and monitoring capabilities. The EvilBama Reicht is planning healthcare for control purposes. The republicans in congress have already voiced their disdain at what's going on.

Yes, it can be good and can be bad.
Good for health reasons.
Bad, when a socialist or an evil government gets a hold of it, they can use it to their advantage.
There could be plague in some part of the country, they take microchip meds, then it reports back that in that particular part of the country is still infected but has not recovered quick enough (but can recover) and the government does not want to waste the time and finances for these people and could decide to get rid of the bad apples in that part of the country.
That is just one example , of course, there could be many other ways that the government can use this against the innocent.

There is too much of Big Brother in microchips for humans and animals. Once people accept this sort of thing, the sky is the limit, including the mark in the forehead or hand.

I don't like this at all. It's all in the name of being convenient, but it's actually all about having control over what you do and when you do it.

Sigh...what to do with this kind of information? We can't just stop taking prescribed medicines when we're really ill, or have some type of long-term condition that is controlled by those medicines.
I guess I can hope that the microchips are large enough to be able to be seen and cut out of the pill by the patient? Or that stomach acids quickly destroy the chip?
Also...does this thing come with the same cancer risk that skin-implanted RFID chips do?
And lastly, what everyone else here has been saying. This is just conditioning people to accept the mark of the beast, or at the very, very least, an Orwellian society.
Awful, just awful....

All I can say is start looking for alternative medications NOW. There are only a handful of pharmaceutical companies who are doing this NOW. That will change quickly... but if we all go to competing companies to get our meds, they will lose big time. In the end, I have no doubt it will make no difference and it will all play out as they say and as the bible says, but at least we will have bought a little time with alternative Pharmaceutical companies, and potentially even herbal replacements... Not to mention foreign RX companies that you can buy online. Start Looking NOW!!!!

I'm a pharmacist and I don't want to have anything to do with microchips in medicines.

just another warning sign to beware of governmental control in the name of socialism.
