I also would not get this chip thinking it cant be the mark just because you cant see it. because you have to remember John had no idea what an implant was so how could he describe one if he was shown an implant

That's my favorite concept right there! When people argue about how we sometimes "symbolically" relate things from End Times prophecy to what's going on now.
You take anybody from the 1600's or earlier, and throw them into modern day society, they're going to relate half of what they see to magic or some other abstract concept because that's the only thing that makes sense to THEM in THEIR time.

while it does seem to be a stepping stone for the MOTB, i think its a good idea to have a transmitter at least in a war zone. one case for example the missing soldiers, they would have been found that day and the perpetrators who captured them likely caught had they been transmitting there wherabouts. id surely rather have the transmitter as an ear ring or somesort than accually implanted in my skin tho

I guess I would encourage them to only take it in their LEFT hand since Revelation says it will be taken in the forehead or right hand.

If they say no, I'd ask why not? My left hand is exactly the same composition of my right hand. Really thrown them for a loop. I would still encourage them not to take it at all, but that would be an interesting conversation to have.

I think God knows many christians wouldn't take any mark, even if its not associated with the AC. I believe he won't allow us to be decieved in what the MOTB is, so the time is getting short.IMO.

G-d was able to do this and more with John 2000 years ago, showing him all of history from before the foundation of the world to the end of time as we know it.

I for one, think we are way overdue for the end, but that G-d has stayed the event for His purpose. I think that the situation has been possible for almost the entire last generation. I think this is that generation.

Perhaps my own vanity results in this, and maybe every one thinks "my generation" but if I get outside of out time and look at it all, I cannot imagine it going on more than another 25 years at best.

OK. I have a question. Why is it that this chip is being equated with the Mark of the beast? In the scriptures they talk about wearing the mark on the hand or the forehead. Is there something I am missing in the Bible? If I were a soldier I would not let them do this but then I wonder why?

Here is a brief point...the newer translations of the bible have Rev 13:16 reading that the mark would be received on the back of the hand or on the forehead. The better texts have it reading as this:

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

Seems to be a distinction that is rather important if you ask me.

I dont think the actual mark of the beast is going to be around until after the rappture and i dont think satan is going to have to trick anyone into taking the mark. think about this remember if you are a born again christian you are taken in the rappture. with that in mind what would your lost family members or friends do when presented with taking the mark. I belvie that the ac will performing miracles like healing the sick and everyone by the way of tv will be able to witness the miracles. after seeing the miracles your friends or family members are then presented with the mark of the beast and are told you can be healed or you need this new mark to pay for items you buy like food. I am sad to say I know of alot of people that would gladly take the mark. Remember you will not be able here to tell them what the mark is about. If people arent reading the bible now when it is so freely available i dont think many will start reading the bible after they realize you will die if caught for reading it. It is true there will be people who get saved after the rappture but i belvie these are the people who havent told God no for the last time.
