Where is the verse that says we will be beheaded...? :idunno
Although i think this is a possibility....your belief in this is no more different than my belief in what the "mark" is...or will be.
They are both conjecture and opinion as i stated.:)
Sorry if "off your rocker" offended anyone. :hehee
"We" won't be beheaded (we'll be taken in the rapture), believers in the tribulation will be beheaded.......What is the conjecture? What the mark will actually be is, but being beheaded isn't and it's not opinion either (see verse in above post)

I have some info on EAPS.
http://www.card-alliance.eu/Documents/efma_eaps_1_0.pdf
To sum it up, The EAPS is going to become a company next month in Europe (Oct. 2007). It will start its payment schemes in Jan 1, 2008 per SEPA guidelines. In 2011, it will merge all Payment Cards into one and will be fully cashless in the Euro area (27 countries +) by the end of 2010 using the chip and pin technology. Due to market forces, Visa, MasterCard and others payment schemes in Europe will merge with this company to become one. Its a very good read. SEPA is the infrastructure that makes EAPS work. IF you wish to read about SEPA you can find it here. http://www.europeanpaymentscouncil.eu/
This is going live in January 1, 2008.
The Euro will be the reserve currency of choice soon. The dollar is slipping fast due to market forces. The dollar is going to collapse soon and drive the USA and other economies into financial crises. During this crisis, the EURO will replace the dollar. The economies that will see the biggest loses will be USA, Japan, and China. Other countries will suffer also.
In 2011, all countries will be required to use the EAPS payment scheme.
After reading Javier Solanas speech, I do believe the ten horns are:
http://www.consilium.europa.eu/ueDocs/cms_Data/docs/pressData/en/discours/93250.pdf
1. Canada
2. France
3. Germany
4. Italy
5. Russia
6. United Kingdom
7. India
8. United States
9. Japan
10. China
The most fascinating thing about EAPS is that the name adds up to 666 per SEPA rulebooks found here. http://www.europeanpaymentscouncil.eu/documents/EPC114_06%20DDIG%20V2%203_Approved.pdf They use A=10, B=11 and so on to convert characters into numbers for banking info.
EURO = 95
ALLIANCE = 129
PAYMENT = 157
SCHEMES = 135
COMPANY = 150
666
But hey, what's in a number? Im sure any name can be converted into a number of significances. However, you will see EAPS become a reality in Europe and the people in the EURO area will be required to join this payment scheme which is cashless. You can bet on it because the EU is betting on it. And just maybe, the whole world will be required to join this system as well. The dollar wont have much to say in the issue.

This is most probably a forerunner of the mark. THE mark will only come on the scene halfway the tribulation, when the A/C sets himself in the temple and demands to be worshipped as god/God and that people take his mark, and only so they will be able to buy and sell. It will be a decision taken with full conscience and knowing doing so to reject Christ. We are not there yet, and we won't be here when these things happen.We will be with Jesus.
Ok, I'm very confused about this. I thought that only a SELECT FEW will be taken up in the Rapture to be with Jesus-not EVERY Christian will be taken. The "Elite", in other words. I thought that there will be many Christians left on earth to spread God's word-to convert others. Those Christians will have to go through the Tribulation!
Doesn't God "spew out" the "lukewarm" christians? The HOT ones-the ones "on fire for him" will be the ones taken in Rapture, and the rest will have to stay, to suffer for him through Tribulation.
Or am I wrong? Where does it say in the Bible that ALL Christians will be taken in Rapture?
I'm terrified...someone please help me understand this!

Wow! That speech was an eye opener!
Here's a list of the '10 horns' I saw someplace else. This would tie into the North American Union, European Union, African Union, etc, and I thought of it when I read the part of Solana's speech that referred to the African Union, Latin American structures (I think) and the Middle East region.
1. North America
2. Western Europe
3. Japan
4. Australia/South Africa
5. Eastern Europe (Russia)
6. Latin America
7. North Africa/Middle East
8. Tropical Africa
9. South and Southeast Asia

I had a panic attack reading these posts and watching that video. I am probably going to have to call into work now. I cannot deal with this stress of knowing that VERY SOON I will be starving to death, unable to get my insulin for my diabetes, and then beheaded. I cannot deal with this stress!!!!!

Calm down I Luv God :hug, did you read the link that LoudRam sent? It will help you understand where some are coming from in their view of the rapture. :hug
For God knows of your needs:
Matthew 6:25-27
55"For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
26"Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?
27"And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?
and He has promised
Hebrews 13:5
"...I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee"

Where in scripture does it say "has to be accepted willingly, with knowledge." I just scanned through Rev 13 again. Maybe I am missing it.
I agree. I just looked and couldn't find anywhere that it says has to accept Satan with the mark. It simply talks about having the mark. The Bible is pretty clear it will be in the right hand or forehead so why take anything or mark anything in those areas?

With regards to the Mark and/or chip being forced upon us...
God implies in the Bible that we will have a choice over whether to accept the mark or not. Those that do, go on to live the rest of their (short) lives before the Second Coming of Jesus when he finished off the Anti-Christ.
Equally though, the Bible also implies that there will be those who choose not to accept the Mark. For those people is reserved the act of beheading. It is these people that we read about in Revelation as a multitude stood before the thrown of God and the Lamb, who were beheaded "for their testimony" and because they refused to take the Mark of the Beast.
Our God is a great God and He has bought us in the most precious blood of his only Son Jesus. Now, because we are in Jesus, as Paul says, "there is nothing that can seperate us from the love of God..." Nothing. End of story.
God also tells us in Scripture that there wil be no temptation placed before us that will be greater than us and that with that temptation, there will always be a way out. This will be no exception.
God will not allow those bought in the blood of his Son to be ripped from his grasp at the end by having a Mark forced upon them.

.....and believers do not go to hell. Scripture makes it very clear that those who take the mark go to hell...believers during the trib will not take the mark as hell is reserved for the unbelieving....
Revelations 14:9-11
a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. And he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name....Here is the patience of the saints here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus."
Revelation 21:8
...the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liarstheir place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
Nobody can accidently end up with the mark and nobody can be forced against their will to take the mark since nobody can be forced into eternal hell -- God's work and word makes that very clear. They will take the mark during the tribulation to try to avoid temporal hardship -- proving their god is not Jesus -- their god is their belly....
Philippians 3:19
Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.
Proverbs 6:26
...for the prostitute reduces you to a loaf of bread, and the adulteress preys upon your very life.
