Just remember, there's no Mark of the Beast until there's actually a recognized Beast.

Just remember, there's no Mark of the Beast until there's actually a recognized Beast....and you have to swear allegience to him in order to get that mark to avoid being killed...

In other words, there will be no doubt about what you are doing when you take The Mark. It will be very clear what the intention is. You can't get tricked into it or have something in your body that later will turn into The Mark.

startup company developing chipless RFID ink has tested its product on cattle and laboratory rats.
Somark Innovations announced this week that it successfully tested biocompatible RFID ink, which can be read through animal hairs. The passive RFID technology could be used to identify and track cows to reduce financial losses from Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (mad cow disease) scares. Somark, which formed in 2005, is located at the Center for Emerging Technologies in St. Louis. The company is raising Series A equity financing and plans to license the technology to secondary markets, which could include laboratory animals, dogs, cats, prime cuts of meat, and military personnel.

I've read about this company, "Somark" and their RFID ink. Interesting name, "Somark". :twitch I also found it interesting that the the ink tatto can be either visible or invisible.

Like the other posters mentioned, it's not the mark until we have to swear allegience, but I do think that this is the technology that will be used. :nod You can get quite a bit of information by googling, "Somark Inovations".

Vine's Expository Dictionary of New Testament WordsMark (Noun)1 Strong's Number: 5480 Greek: charagma
denotes "a stamp, impress," translated "mark" in Rev 13:16,17, etc. See GRAVEN.

2 Strong's Number: 4742 Greek: stigma
denotes "a tattooed mark" or "a mark burnt in, a brand" (akin to stizo, "to prick"), translated "marks" in Gal 6:17.

I've been reading about RFID for several months now.
If I'm not mistaken, I read somewhere that they have now advanced this technology where it can be INVISIBLE. I'm quite sure it was this particular technology, but it's been a while and I don't know where I read that, to show you anything on it. {Maybe you could google it and find it.}
But I was quite shocked when I read it......INVISIBLE.

I see the poster above me also referred to this as being invisible, so I'm not crazy or dreaming.

Interesting (and scary) that the technology is improving to make such things possible.

Jesus is coming soon!

Certainly true, but none-the-less, this technology is very liable to be used in a VERY sinister way sometime in the future!

We have to remember... the technology itself isn't what is evil, it's the use and motive when using the technology that can be evil!

God bless!!

Very true. My point is just not to panic pre-maturely. :)

The Left Behind series has been very popular with Christians. However, I read that in one of the books they have a character (Chang Wong) that was forced to take the Mark and was forgiven by God. That is completely unscriptural.
