The bible is very clear what happens if you accept the mark. I think your going to have to willingly accept the mark or lose your head. Take your pick lose your soul or lose your head.

I think even in this most remote example to not be serving the beat you would have to reject all things related to the beat including buying, selling, eatting and everything else related to the beast.

Chang Wong acted as a Christian. He had to be convinced by the Trib force to assume the position in the upper command computer intelligence section. He used his position to stop the movement of the enforcement machines (guillotines) and to stop actions of the beast as best he could. As a "worker" in the command, he was housed on-base and fed on-base jsut as our soldiers are. He behaved in a Christian manner in all things. And, no WCG777, what you think is not why we who have read the books and accept the story. The way that the story was written, it is a plausible scenario. I think that you should read the books to fully understand the entire situation, then you would have a better basis of understanding and might change your opinion. Chang's character appears in the last several books.

In other words, there will be no doubt about what you are doing when you take The Mark. It will be very clear what the intention is. You can't get tricked into it or have something in your body that later will turn into The Mark.

I used to really worry about that...(getting tricked into taking it) NOw I know that can't happen, thanks to ya'll informing me. :wave
