Yes, but I think some of these brand new Christians will have become Christians because they recognized that what had occured was the Rapture. They will finally know that all thier old "crazy" Christian friends were right. So I also think when the anti-christ begins to force people to take the mark, these brand new Christians will recognize that for what it really is as well. No one will mistakingly take the mark thinking it is something related to being Christian.

I agree... I was just responding to the person who said that all of the Christians will be gone. All of the current born-again Christians will be gone, but there will be new one's after the rapture.

But after the rapture there will be brand new Christians...

Good point! :nod :nod

But I was responding to the part (below) that sounded like the OP was worried about Christians being deceived about the mark before the rapture:

It will mean nothing to the antichrist, but will explain how even christians take the mark. If the pope says people should all have a symbol of mary on their hands to stop them from being taken away by the devil(real rapture),

I have thought about this and studied other's posts on this board and read about this. I tend to agree. I don't think anyone will be tricked into taking the mark. I think they will embrace the antichrist as their messiah. Remember that the Holy Spirit won't be here to give people the discernment we now have. This man will seem like a hero to many. They will gladly take a mark of allegiance. Scary. I'm so grateful I won't be here for it, but I pray as many as possible are saved before that happens.

If one looks at χξς which is Greek for 666, and turn it sideways, one sees what is translated as Bismillah, or in the name of Allah. Look right at the script in gold, not the round object. Focus on the UUU part. Muslims will recognize this right away, because it is also Arabic. Note the X or cross swords is also a sign for Islam.

I think this is significant.

Yeah, and what I think matters! Cause I know SO MUCH!! :spew

I think that's pretty much what my pastor was getting at one time.
And the swords are scimitars I believe. That was EXACTLY how John wrote/drew it.

And yes, Todd Bentley's doctrine has much to be desired for, to put it nicely.

Of course what is really interesting, is the explosion af tatoos and piercings being so popular, and it seems to almost be a badge of honor to be inked...
I personnally do not have any "markings" or piercings, and I hold my head up high when gasped at.:nod

EXACTLY! Hence... the lie. Those whom do not get raptured will think that the "evil" Christians were in fact evil and not marked for acceptance into the NWO.

Born-again Christians won't be here to take the mark. We'll be watching from "upstairs".

stephanie c.

Agreed, and anybody who takes the mark of the beast cannot be saved during the tribulation.
