Ultimately, exactly what the mark will look like is irrelevant. I doubt very seriously that it will be any kind of "religious" symbol, as that would only appeal to a specific demographic, and this will take place during a "one-world" movement. I have heard that the mark could very well be an embedded computer chip of some sort, so the mark could be some sort of scar tissue, or perhaps a tattoo of some kind (a bar code perhaps?).

The message we should be giving people is to avoid the Tribulation altogether by accepting Christ's scrifice on the cross. And to those who are unfortunately left behind, the warning should be clear: Do NOT under ANY circumstances, take the mark!

I have been taught that the Image of the Beast (IOB) will be "real", although supernaturally enabled, "brought to life" so to speak (if you will pardon the pun, unintentional). In other words, I don't believe it will be done with camera tricks, trick photography, animatronics, or any other current technology, but with true super-natural forces bringing the statue to "life".

As I read it, this is the feat that convinces the masses that the AC is "god," because he is able to bestow life, and the statue is the proof.
