I believe that those who are mentally disabled will be Raptured with us, so they'll never have to face that issue. The reason for that is, mentally, they're below the age of accountability.

As for the children who are conceived and born after the Rapture, well, they won't be doing any buying or selling, so hopefully, they won't be forced to accept the mark, whether it comes in the form of an implant or an RFID tattoo.

We all need to remember that the 2 witnesses will be seen by everyone around the world. I'm sure they'll have a choice word or two to say about the mark before they are removed. Also the angels will be flying in the sky, witnessing and warning. I do not believe that it will be possible for a competent adult to be mistaken about what it means to 'take the mark.'

I agree with you 100%. Bieng an ex-catholic, I remember a catholic family who had a retarded daughter. She always seemed to be praying and talking to God even though bieng a catholic you would'nt be taught that. :scratch

I think people will be very conditioned to accept this kind of tracking. One of the articles about the storm Gustav said that people were being outfitted with arm bands with tracking codes so families could find each other.

So, as a practical measure, this makes 'sense.'

People starving, in extreme pain, sick! I believe sound minded adults (accountable for themselves) will consciously choose the mark of the beast and will bow down to worship him as their savior. No tricks.

The technology is interesting and has many applications, good and bad. Please remember that the Mark:
1. Is taken at the mid-way point of the Tribulation.
2. All current believers will be Raptured before that.
3. People here during this time will make a CHOICE to take the Mark.
