One thing that has come about in the farm industry is animal identification. All cattle must now be tagged with a chip that allows the department of Ag to find any cow anywhere in the US. This has allowed the government to find sick animals and their offsprings quickly. Also, the vet sciences have come a long way in a short time. 30 years ago if a horse broke its leg it had to be put down. Today there are options in some cases.

I work for a large hospital system in the billing area. One of the bosses has a vendor "tree" on the whiteboard in their office. Hospital billing is extremely complicated and this tree helps the managers keep track of which vendor is responsible for which part of the process. A patient bill starts in a system that contains all of a persons' medical, insurance and personal information. Then it feeds into a couple of other systems in order to produce a bill.
The reason I am telling you this is because HealthVault, which is named in this article is on that vendor "tree"! :shocked Which ultimately means that it would not be too difficult to feed all of the information into the national database in HealthVault and the RFID system. Right know there is a lot of HIPAA restrictions and privacy laws but it is technically possible. :panic
I almost passed out when I saw the name HealthVault. I waited until my boss left for a meeting to double-checked it before I posted it. It is listed as MicroSoft HealthVault, so there is no doubt.

They don't even need to tag them now as RFID ink is available, and the cattle are tattooed, and the animal can be scanned from up to 4 feet away. BTW, the RFID ink is also available in a colorless form~~~mark of the beast could be tattooed on the forehead or right hand, and not be visable. Nowadays, it's no big deal to get a tattoo~~~look at the 2 TV programs about tattooing, and how popular it's become, especially among young adults. Let's see, there is this device a Mother can carry, her child has another, and if the child gets out of range, an alarm goes off, and she can locate her child. I'm sure most of you have seen the commercial for this. Also, the commercial about the GPS device you put into your teenager's car, with distance parameters set, and if the teen drives outside the perimeter, the parent is alerted. Of course, our cell phones are GPS devices and give our location everytime we use one. Who would have "thunk" it just 10 years ago? the advances in medicine are astonding! Using robotic arms to do coronary bypass surgery? It's being done by the DaVinci robotic system at a hospital in our neck of the woods. Back in 1982, when we first started doing balloon angioplasties where I worked, they were just doing research on stents. Now, they are being used in all sorts of applications, not just the coronary arteries. Just waiting for the next shoe to drop:rotfl

Daniel 12:
4 "But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase."
9 He said, "Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time.
10 "Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand."
Daniel was one who studied the Scriptures and he had insight. He knew from reading Jeremiah when the 70 years was up for the Jewish captives in Babylon.
I think that we all agree that we are in "the end of time." Time for the words to be unsealed and revealed.
I think that the knowledge that has increased is the kind of knowledge that Daniel had. Insight into Daniel's visions is no longer concealed. The things that the Christians read in the Bible - even as recently as 100 years ago -must have been so hard to figure out. No longer. Now we "see" it.
The Word is unfolding and revealed before our eyes.
JMO, but I think that's an additional meaning of the type of knowledge and understanding that has increased.

Also, the space program. Travel to places in space was unheard of until the last century.
Speaking of which, we're supposed to see Pluto in 2015. :)
