If there are any naysayers who don't believe that the mark of the beast will be the rfid chip or its variant UPC code have a look at what Big Blue has for You!!!
If you get it (rfid/barcode: remember this is america- you get a choice) your eternal destiny will be the lake of fire. Don't forget your reciept!

I know there is going to be a mark to be taken by those who aren't raptured... but I don't know what technology the mark will be comprised of. Don't think I'm a naysayer, but I can't say or agree that it will be of one technology or another.

For believers walking the earth at the time that the mark is introduced and administered, I don't believe there will be any doubt as to the mark being "The Mark"... nobody needs to worry about getting it because they "didn't know..."

Boy, I'm surprised that even with the passages quoted in this thread there are still people worried about this! Let's try a different angle, all of us posting here are saved or we probably wouldn't be here on this board in the first place. Question: How many people that have given their lives to Jesus Christ, professed Him as their savior, asked Him to forgive their sins and come into their lives; how many of those people who now have the Holy Spirit dwelling within them are going to hell? Hopefully everyone here knows the answer to that (it's zero according to scripture; once His, always His) :) So one last time, QUIT WORRYING!! Have faith in your salvation and Savior! God isn't going to allow one of His lambs to be tricked into eternal damnation because of some electronic gizmo.

Also, a recent 60 Minute program featured technology that allowed a person to control a computer by brainwave harness. This technology will be the security system to keep ANYONE from stealing your chip and using it. ( I.E. )Your brainwaves are as unique as a thumbprint (no two are alike).
So, no one can cut the chip out (it would be useless without the brainwave Identifier). If they cut off your head or hand, no brainwave would be attached to it, making them useless. Even if someone tried to force you to get something for you in a store and bring it to them unwillingly, you could tell the guard at the store through a thought change that you are being coerced.
Think about it, no more counterfeiting (which is the REAL cause of the US Dollars decline: 630 billion dollar industry helped by Russian Mob, Chinese Organized crime, and Terrorist Organizations) no more drug cartel (money laundering: who knows how much?) No more credit card fraud and theft
(the REAL reason that the banks are in lockdown: 10 billion annually the last I looked) No more extortion, and identity theft.
My friend, the mortgage failure was just the tip of the iceburg. This economic crisis is the catalyst to get this MARK in place. AND THEY ARE GOING TO DO IT NOW!!!

Again ..... I'm not talking about the spiritual aspect. I KNOW we are not supposed to do either one. I KNOW that whoever does either will go to the lake of fire, and whoever resists both will go to heaven. I get that.

What I'm talking about is the EARTHLY punishment for refusing the Mark, and how the Bible states that the EARTHLY consequence will be the inability to buy and sell, and then how it speaks about the EARTHLY penalty for refusal to worship the beast as being death. As far as I have yet to see, the Bible does not say that the EARTHLY punishment for refusal of the Mark will be death.



I've seen where the Bible states that refusal to do BOTH (refuse the mark AND refuse to worship the AC) will result in an EARTHLY punishment of death. But I don't see where it states that refusal of the Mark all by itself will result in a consequence of DEATH.

Others do not want to contribute to the movement or help start the mark mentality which will hurt others down the road. I don't want a mark (chip) in my beast (cat) which helps develop the official mark of the beast in the Tribulation.

My earlier post could be read to imply that all would get it, but we know that many won't, and many of those will die for their decision. The martyrs of the tribulation.
