Simple Explanation of Different Beliefs

Hi. Could someone explain or direct me to a web site that simply explains the differnces in religions. Like protestant, baptist, catholic, lutheran, methodist and ect...I hope this is the right forum. If not, please move it

CARM.org has a nice page that list various religions/cults and compares their fundemental beliefs against Christianity. It is helpful when dealing with cults.

To find the differenced between denominations within Christianity it is best to compare Statements of Faith and Constitutions. These are usualy available by website or request. Where many have the same Gospel message they differ in liturgy, church government, religious liberties, music. Even within congregations of the same denomination you will have differences.

But when a church starts to reinvent the Bible, or declare parts out-dated (The Bible has to change to handle todays problems), or add to the message- works, stop. It is an apostate church.
