Thanks ladies. Would any of you mind sharing what a typical day is like for you? Thanks again

Here's what we TRY to do =):

8-9a: Get up, dressed, make beds, etc...
9-10a: Take a walk or go to the pool for exercise and "waking up"
10-12p: Bible study (which is basically going to include working with the Bible, social studies on the culture of the time, language arts--new words for vocabulary and spelling, writing copywork from Scripture, memorization of Scripture, history, geography, etc...)
12-1p: Lunch and break
1-3p: History, Science or Wisdom (depending on the day... Monday is History, Tuesday is Science, Wednesday is Wisdom) and on Thursdays and Fridays we have this time for any catch up work, revisions, or reading and journaling.
3-4p: Math

I know it's longer than the typical homeschool day, but we take things slow and leave time for breaks because one of our kids is ADHD and needs the slower schedule. We're also none of us real morning people to get up at 6am and rarin' to go, so to speak. hehe A lot of home schools start at 6 or 7 and are done by 12. That's great, too. The wonderful thing about homeschooling is that you can tailor it to YOUR family and YOUR schedule. It can even be done in the evenings for parents who work during the day! I have a friend who does some subjects during the day with her stepdaughter and then, in the evenings, when dad gets home, he does other subjects with her.

In His love,
