Call from our district principal

Just got a call from our school. The Princ. was trying to convince me that our kids are going to fall "far" behind other children.....(even though they all are already a grade to two beyond most of the others). Trying to scare me into my older son not earning "credits" for graduation....and whatever else. He just heard about our choice to homeschool at the school board meeting last night.

I know that he was trying to scare me(I am always amazed at how these men from the school never call and talk to my husband...or ask for him. They always ask for me). Pray for us.

Anyone else go through this?

No, but if the harassment persists you need to sic HSLDA on them ;)

I agree HSLDA needs to be contacted if that happens again. I had a problem earlier this month with the State board of education, tried to deal with it myself then I mentioned HSLDA, they changed their answer that afternoon.

Yup, HSLDA. Are you a member? All the legal protection you need for homeschooling for only 100 dollars a year. 90 if you get a group of 10 to go in with you.

They will tell you exactly what to do. :)

House of Light, just curious.... have you heard anything else or has he called back?? I hope it was just a last ditch effort and they're leaving you alone. :hug
