hey...stop throwing things at me :fear
Naaah, we wouldn't do that javamaven, we'll just tell ya to R E P E N T!!! :pound
Seriously though, I know what you mean sometimes it does seem a bit too "scripted". The good news however, is that regardless of anyone's personal delivery of the truth the Lord will ALWAYS honor His Word. ;)

I'm genuinely curious. Please answer said question[s].
Have you repented of your sin? Or, does repentance have any place in your life?

Hello SHF :)
As I have covered this on Apologetics, I will just say that C.T. is followed by both Calvanists and Arminiumists. The latter are usually Post or Amill. However there are also Premill. C.T. who prefer to call themselves Historic Premill. This includes the Weslyan variety of C.T. The connection is with their view on Israel and the Church being One entity not two separate and distinct one's in God's plan.
These are usually Postrib. like Paul Washer; but there are also the Pretribbers among them. Which is why it is reasonable to suppose Kirk Cameron be part of the 'Left Behind' films.
Regarding your post above on Ray Comforts statement; I suppose it is a question of what is read where? From your post, it would seem that my first impression about Ray being C.T., not just using C.T's spiritualizing interpretation of The Bible, is more apparent than I had realised.
:hat
I consider those who believe the Church and Israel to be one entity as those who believe primarily in Replacement Theology not Covenant Theology.
In my own case, I really don't care for "categories and labels" so I'm neither. I simply believe the Bible from cover to cover as the Holy Spirit reveals it to me, and He's a wonderful Teacher all by Himself! :reading
"But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him." (1Jn 2:27)
"Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual." (1Cor 2:13)
"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." (Jn 16:13)

1John 4:1Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
There is a BIG difference in attacking someone because they have non-salvational disagreements, and someone preaching another gospel.. You said Ray Comfort, (might as well add Paul Washer) preach another Jesus, which means that they are not saved..
Because someone is post trib, I won't declare them lost. I disagree, but if they have the full understanding of who Christ is, and why He is the only way to heaven..who can say they have a different Jesus? (You did)
I see wolves here, but not them... Look at the great preachers of the past. Find 2 that agreed together about every non-salvational doctrine... Tell us which were preaching a different Jesus..
You also ignored all the scripture I posted, not even will to tell me why it was wrong..just attacking people who witness on the streets. You mentioned being offending by them... Maybe you understand now why Christians are arrested and even killed for preaching..
Dan~~~>sees it happening more and more on RR...

Article VII. SALVATION ONLY THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST ALONE
Owing to universal death through sin, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless born again; and that no degree of reformation however great, no attainments in morality however high, no culture however attractive, no baptism or other ordinance however administered, can help the sinner to take even one step toward heaven; but a new nature imparted from above, a new life implanted by the Holy Spirit through the Word, is absolutely essential to salvation, and only those thus saved are sons of God. Our redemption has been accomplished solely by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, who was made to be sin and was made a curse for us, dying in our room and stead; and that no repentance, no feeling, no faith, no good resolutions, no sincere efforts, no submission to the rules and regulations of any church, nor all the churches that have existed since the days of the Apostles can add in the very least degree to the value of the blood, or to the merit of the finished work wrought for us by Him who united in His person true and proper deity with perfect and sinless humanity (Lev. 17:11; Isa. 64:6; Matt. 26:28; John 3:7–18; Rom. 5:6–9; 2 Cor. 5:21; Gal. 3:13; 6:15; Eph. 1:7; Phil. 3:4–9; Titus 3:5; James 1:18; 1 Pet. 1:18–19, 23).

Hey, They got a new one up today!
[YOU TUBE VIDEO]Hpl5Ea8zMiI[/YOU TUBE VIDEO]
Galatians 3:24
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Remove the law, and teach another gospel...
1 Timothy 1:8-9 (New King James Version)
But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
Remove it from the gospel, and you get a non-biblcal gospel..since no one knows what they are being saved from..
It's clear that some people in here disagree with that, which is too bad.. Its key to understanding the bibical gospel, as it was for me, and many others..
Dan~~~>thinks we should mirror Christ in its use...reguardless of who is offended..
23 Before this faith came, we were all held prisoners by the law. We had no freedom until God showed us the way of faith that was coming.24 In other words, the law was our guardian leading us to Christ so that we could be made right with God through faith.25 Now the way of faith has come, and we no longer live under a guardian.
Rod talking to you Dan. Gal 3:23,24,25
K.C. believes he became a Christian out of Rick Warren's Church. And in spite of Rick's over zealous comforts with World Religion and his ecumenical toleration of spiritual formation, he,K.C. came away from it and has grown in Christ. He even grew with with Comfort.:shocked If growth can come from a conference that Comfort puts together, great. As I said before, Ravi and Johnny Hunt are in bed with Spiritual Formation.

I'm not sure I understand what your saying...
K.C. believes he became a Christian out of Rick Warren's Church.
No, Kirk Cameron gave his story of how God saved him, and as far as I've ever heard, has no connection with Rick Warren.. Having gone through the series, they also mention Joel Olsteen by name, speaking clearly that using those types of "methods" are not bibical..
The people who falsely call them "legalist" don't understand the use of the law.. A legalist would be someone who says earn salvation via the law.. They preach, despit what some claim, that you can't keep the law..which is why they need Christ...
It is mirrored from scripture...
I've found by experience, that people who claim this is legalism, often do so because they live in sin, and don't want to feel guilty over it...
1 John 1:6
If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

By the way, where did anyone get the idea that Kirk came out of Rick Warrens church?
Personally, I'd like to see Rick get into WOTM..:lol2
Dan~~~>never heard of any connection, but knows they will preach to anyone in any church..

1John 4:1Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Too many C.T. folk are super spiritual forgetting He never denies the written Word; and they go by a feeling within them that something they think is right – is right! The result is error. This is the danger of not dividing the word correctly.
I agree that God NEVER contradicts His written Word. I also agree that we must compare scripture with scripture and keep everything in proper context, and I believe the Holy Spirit is more then able to help us to do that as well. :nod
Keep in mind also, that the Lord can open even a child's heart and eyes to the truth of the Gospel, so one does not have to learn Hebrew and Greek or know all about the many different "theologies" to "rightly divide the word" and understand the scriptures. Some intellectualize the Bible way too much and consequently are in danger of falling into the category of "ever learning and never coming to the knowledge of the truth". The Lord will resist the proud (i.e. those who think they have it all figured out) and He will give grace to the humble (those who trust and rely solely and wholly on Him above all else).
God is ever Faithful, and will reveal His Word and Himself to every heart and life that sincerely and diligently seeks Him. Those who honestly seek and desire the TRUTH will certainly find it.
