I noticed the guys forum had this one, so how about us!
I have worked several places but the last 20 plus years I was a government tutor for first graders in an elementray school. I must say I think I work harder since I am retired than I ever did at a job.

I am an account manager assistant at an oil company - been here for 7 years. I've worked in numerous different types of jobs (medical, computers co., clerical type stuff) since I was 19. Now, that I'm a brand new grandma :yeah, my mind has decided that I want to retire and stay home so I can spend time with my current and future grandbabies. I think that's normal, though. But I'll have to work for several more years to help get debts paid off. Then I'm outta here!!!!:thumb

Well besides being a wife and mother, which are my most important jobs, I am a sewing instructor teaching everything from basic sewing to heirloom to smocking and serging. I also digitize embroidery designs and sell doll clothes/patterns/children’s clothes on Ebay.

P.S. When I retire, I am going to write books on prophecy, or be a street preacher...LOL
That is, if we're still around!

That is sew cool! I always wanted to be able to sew! My husband got me a sewing machine for Christmas but it's one of those intimidating ones that does letters and stuff and I'm afraid to use it.
I sewed a zipper on my favorite jacket once, and when I stood up I had sewed the whole thing to my pants leg. That kinda discouraged me. I really wish I knew how to knit, too. I can do embroidery, but they changed the name of it, or I just can't find the embroidery stuff like they had when I was a kid (round ring to stretch out the fabric, pillowcase or whatever with a pattern of little x's, needles and colored thread. I'd love to get that stuff for my kids.) I've seen needlepoint, but it doesn't seem to be the same thing and it looks way complicated.
When I worked, it was at Target as a level 3, or team lead as they call them now, in girls clothes (I spent my whole salary on girl's clothes) then seasonal (I spent my whole salary on Christmas and Halloween decorations) and then overnight in flow, which was the best, I would scout out the clearance while they were reducing it and buy it when the store opened, so I spent my whole salary on clearance! Plus a 10% employee discount! Shopaholics shouldn't work in retail.
It's MUCH better being a stay at home Mom and home school teacher! I love being with the kids all the time. I liked Target when I was there, but now I don't even go there to shop.
