the RT1M has a bassani pipe, webco head.its bored 060 over but the porting is stock,i do have a ported cylinder for it that needs to be bored along with another engine that needs to be rebuilt.the main bearings need replacing.i have the parts needed, just need to get out there and do it.right now the bike is pretty fast as is.in the dirt the bike will show you 85-90 mph.it has the enduro wide ratio gear set and 16 tooth countershaft and 38 tooth main sprocket.needless to say the top end on the thing will fill your eyes full of tears.the ported cylinder belonged to a guy that used to run his on the dragstrip.

hrm... and I want to slash out the tires of cars, trucks, suvs with drivers that drive around with cell phone in hand. Cell phones in cars should be illegal because it distracts the driver and I cant tell you how many close calls on my bike and in my truck I've had with some dope not paying attention because they were squawking away on their cell phone. JohhnyHye, as you said, I don't see how that fits in with being a Christian... while the noise of day to day life is interrupting your cell phone conversation in your car, people are being killed by cell phone-drivers, everyday. It must stop!

Is this a christian attitude?

I want a Harley too but I don't want to slash tires. There is a kid here in town 22 years old and just bought a new Harley, he had it a week and got hit right in front of the high school. Lost his left leg above the knee. The principal and a school nurse saved his life with a tourniqet before the ambulance got there.

I have come to believe that only BMW motorcycles will be available in heaven. Sorry ... no Harley bikes permitted.

And my dog "Roxy" says that the only dogs will be Schnauzers too ...

ehh it was a reply to someone that was trolling really hard... that had his posts removed along with his forum account. However, cell phones do need to be outlawed when driving, if I MUST use a helmet (which I detest due to cut visibility), than people need to drop their cells and quit running bikers and pedestrians down with their cars/weapons. :ohno

thank you.I usually buy bikes cheap then fix them up.i find much joy in doing that.that DT400 almost killed me.it had bad front wheelbearings and it caused the front wheel to lock up.i spent 3 months in a hospital recovering.it caused closed head trauma and my left arm to be fractured at the pivot point.despite that happening i still like to ride.God did a marvelous job in putting me back together.the details of the crash i dont remember and if God allowed me to remember i probably wouldnt ride anymore.when i got home i replaced the front wheel bearings and fixed the crash damage.thats yet another thing for me to sing praises to our all mighty God :yeah

some people are malicious to bikers anyway.back in late 88 I bought a brand new 88 KLR 650 kawasaki. i was riding down a 4 lane main street and a guy in a honda accord pulled out of a car wash and stopped in front of me,even though he could have gone on because there was not any cars at all in the way he was going, the guy stopped blocking two lanes and i had no way to get around him.i wasnt used to the bike and its notoriously weak rear brake.anyway i locked up the rear brake and the rear tire was lifting a bit due to me being on the front brake so hard.i came very close to either laying the bike down or hitting him broadside.he took off after my close call hitting him.i swung a u-turn and gave chase to him but lost him in the traffic.they probably would have thrown me in prison for what i wanted to do to him then.back then i believed in jesus christ but wasnt really walking with him and keeping his commandments.thanks to God nothing bad happened and if it happaned today i would have to find a non violent way to settle the problem.

repealing their helmet laws we have no shortage of organ donors.

repealing their helmet laws we have no shortage of organ donors.I disagree. Put on a full helmet and simply fall backwards to the ground and you risk snapping your neck from the helmet bouncing. Sure you could get a concussion w/o, but with a helmet you risk a great possibility of death from such a simple fall. Also, helmets restrict vision and hearing which is the most important things for defensive driving. Before helmet laws I'd use a helmet, but not all the time, depends on the trip. Through greenhorn city traffic I don't have a problem with helmets, but in most situations they are more of a liability. Going to speed your crochrocket around, sure wear a helmet, but other than that it's more of a danger for experienced riders. What would be fair is for riders that have had a license for 3+ years, it should be an option to use a helmet, I just don't need the state or feds babysitting me.
