Rod "breakthrough" Parsley He is W.O.F

He keeps telling his members a breakthrough is coming......never does...I guess they have not sent enough $$$$$$$$$$$$ to him yet.

You're right, Stinker, those "breakthroughs" are pretty expensive. I watched one of his camp meetings a few years ago. He actually had his wife (I think her name is Kathy) to stand up and show off a huge diamond ring he had bought her. He said that faithful people (I'm assuming that means those who give large amounts of money to his ministry) will be able to sport such riches.
She even looked embarrassed by the bragging he did.

Personally, I'm sick and tired of the "blab it and grab it" ministries. They claim all these miraculous "breakthroughs", yet they never seem to materialize. For the most part, they are money-grubbers who are living wealthy lives from the money that folk who have bought into this program are sending them. It's amazing to me that thousands of people are duped by them. They always seem to have the large congregations - that's because folks in these last days are looking for sensationalism.

As for me, just give me the truth. I've dealt with the sensationalism, and believe me, it can't replace the gospel truth.

I don't listen to him, mainly because his preaching is simply "jump and shout" material only. When asked if he prepares his sermon, he said that he doesn't. That probably explains why.

I watched him for a about three days and every single day it set off my spider sense....just not right. Not enough scripture and Jesus...too much Rod Parsley and also his whole manner of speaking changes depending on his audience. I think he is a professional showman. :ohno

I've seen Rod and have been under his teaching a few years ago and his mother. Also a couple of his major staff members that I attended church at.(before they moved)

He does love to brag about his jet airplane, etc, scream from the pulpit at people for not tithing enough, but there are many poor people filling up his church under his "faith" teaching that are struggling and wondering why this has not happened to them, or they think or feel condemend because they wonder if they had sinned "too" much or it is their fault for a "lack of faith."

Stay away from the WOF! It will kill your spirit.
