I think I can get it. A friend of mine, whom I found by looking upon Perry Stone videos online, and who was just as much into Perry as I was, should still have some proof of Perrys crazy ways. We both thought that "he was the man of God for this generation." His prophecy teachings, especially the ones concerning the coming Islamic Anti Chirst, blew me away and made so much sense in light of the 911 attack on the Twin Towers. Anway, what's so funny about all of this, at least to me, is the fact that while I was a HUGE Perry Stone fan, another member on Rapture Ready named "Mr Mann" or something like that (this was over 2 years ago), used to tell me that he was a false prophet. My friend David Lowe (author of a book discussed on this website), used to argue all the time with "Mr Mann" about Perry. We'd say that Perry was genuine and defend him, and "Mann" would say he was a wolf in sheep's clothes. It wasn't until a year or more after did I find that Mr. Mann was right all along.

Crazy, huh?

Weirder things have happened. If you can find that source I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

I just cant believe this thread...:doh...another bashing of a real man of GOD!!!!!.. doubting and questioning this man ..:shocked ..I feel this is a spiritual attack....How many people here have heard him in person??? Ive heard him many many times in person and have heard nothing unbiblical....Ive learned so much from him...along with other fine preachers.. I listen to him with my Bible in hand!!.Ive seen his heart for the lost, his love for all, im not easily decieved......anyone denying the Baptism of the Holy SPIRIT is denying the word of GOD!...It has nothing to do with ones salvation....if you dont believe in it, you wont be recieving...so dont worry about it...your enemy certainly doesnt want you to have any gfts from JESUS anyway...you would then become more of a threat to his doomed kingdom....Ive been there at his conferences..:heythere..Ive seen folks delivered and set free form drugs, and other issues....Ive seen folks get healed miraculously........
if its just a matter of style.....just dont watch him.. youll be missing out on great end-time teaching....thats your free-will choice...
I SOOO look forward to attending his next conference in Dalton Georgia.....
COME LORD JESUS, PLEASE SOON!!!:pray:pray:pray

Dalton, GA eh? Where is that? Since I'm in Bama I might check it out.

Well, he made some prophecies that didn't come to pass, therefore he must be false. "Let God be true and every man, be a liar."

I know how you feel though. I don't think anyone loved Perry like I did. A friend and sister in the Lord, who is a mod on this website, knows a bit how much I loved Perry. I'm telling you, as soon as he started selling thousand dollar bricks, it was like a continual downfall. Birds of a feather flock together...Remember that.

You'll see Perry with Benny Hinn, Paula White, Ron Parsley, and a host of other false teachers. I'm supposed to get proof of Perry Stone tonite from a friend of mine who still recieves his products and news letter, I will post as I get the information.

Do you remember what prophecies he made and give us some sources? I just want to know for myself.

Also, maybe a real man of God might hang with the likes of Benny Hinn is to maybe witness to them and let them know they're not doing what they ought to do? Just a thought.:idunno

I've just started to watch Perry Stone and only on End Times prophecy stuff.

CHRISTINCHERYL; I agree with your posts about Perry. I dont know how to paste others comments in my post sorry. I have learned so much from him and early this year I was at a church where he came to preach and I got baptised in the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues when he came around and was praying over me, you could really feel the presence of God when you are around him.
As far as money goes, I have heard him also state that he will not send out letters begging for money, but come on people it does take some amount of money to preach the gospel around the world and pay for air time.

Everyone does that with new facilites they build. Churches, museums, playgrounds etc. We built a community playground which was paid for by people buying bricks with inscriptions named on them. Simple fund-raising.

Hospitals do it all the time too.

I thought you meant literally "rocks" from the Holy Land etc. These are plaques with donations to fund construction of the facility. Someone has to pay for it just like someone has to tithe to your church to pay the mortgage, utilities, and other expenses.:idunno

What bothers me about this post and others like it...is how judgmental they are about the ministries of other people. Are we God that we can sit here in condemnation of a person's ministry?

I know that we are to be watchmen against false prophets. But these debates end up being heated on both sides...what kind of witness is this to the unbeliever who is reading these threads?

Romans 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

2 Timothy 2:14 Keep reminding them of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. 15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

Your right, I thought he was selling rocks on his show to sell with your name on it.
Selling as part of a building is done all the time.
