Around seven years ago I was asked by a friend to take care of his home while he and his family were away on vacation. While I was there my mind started to naturally compose a new song. This was one of those songs that would not leave my mind until I finished it. Day and night the song would constantly play in my mind and while it played I kept hearing the words: "The Writing on the Wall." The song eventually became the theme song of my third instrumental piano CD.

About a year later from that time was: "Septmeber 11"

We have heard from our own government that the question is when, where and how....not if. We know the borders have been kept open enough to allow anything and everything into the country.
I find nothing in the article that at first glance contradicts biblical teachings and prophecies.
If nothing else, it certainly seems worthwhile to pray, fast, meditate and ask for discernment on this subject. It is not beyond conception during this day and time.

I too see nothing in this article that contradicts Scripture. It is calling for repentance and prayer for America. Surely a call we should heed.

Not only is there anything in the article that condradicts scripture, but nothing in his teachings contradict scripture either. Perry Stone is truly a man after Gods own heart. I have been to his conferences and watched him on The Angel network Channel. I believe he is sharing God's prophetic Word to the church for today!

Beware!!" Perry Stone is a Word of Faith person". W.O.F.er. Listen to him at your own risk.
Have you got anything Mr. Stone has said or preached that conflicts with Scripture? If not, why start a slam on him?
If you have, would you please inform the rest of us of the specifics. I have never heard anything from anyone identifying unscriptural teachings by him. Thank you.
I did a search on Word of Faith and found things like...
(1) An Examination Of The Word-Faith Movement by Richard J. Vincent, 1991
"The Word-Faith Teachers. This is the group that would seek to convince us that Jesus and His disciples were rich, that to be poor is a sin, to be sick is a sin, and that faith is a creative force that we can use to shape our world just like God supposedly created this world and universe that we live in through His "faith"! Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth
I just looked up WOF and read a little about it.
I have listened to quite a few of Perry's video teachings and personally have never heard any messages along these lines.

Perry and my pastor were very best friends and so I had the joy of having Perry in my church for many years. I could listen to him teach for 5 straight hours (!!!) and still feel so sad when he'd end it. Perry is a wonderful and godly man. So is his dad! And Perry's wife Pam is as sweet as can be. I learned soooo much over the years from Perry. I still refer to notes from his teaching! He will always be special to my heart.
I pray for him that he doesn't lose site and get of track becoming involved with the name it and claim it gang.

Perry actually lightly rebukes a WOF teaching in the article. In the section "What is the Purpose" he mentions the "speak it into existance" teaching and disclaims it. He gives clear chapter and verse scripture and is not name it and claim it in any way.

The poster didn't slam him, he just issued a warning about the Woffer in Stone. Some Stone supporters wouldn't accept that, and some detractors do believe that. The poster was giving his/her opinion. Nothing wrong with that.
