I sent off a thorough email to BGEA today listing the different grievances I found in my research. I hope to get a response in a few days. I thoroughly read faqs on their beliefs and also question and answers about philosophy, religion and cults. on their website. I noticed that Franklin Graham has taken over in video segments. He seems to be very conservative in his thinking and beliefs which is what I thought all along. There was one recent message from Billy Graham that said the only hope of salvation is through Jesus Christ.

May I have specific references to Jesse Duplantis being a False Teacher?
I would appreciate it very much. :)

He is a wof teacher. Learned from the Copelands and Hagin. That should be enough to explain.:nod I remember years ago when I came back to the Lord me and my husband had some tapes (that dates me) by him. He use to crack us up with his humor. I will never forget though when he said and admitted that he has seen Jesus and talks to him face to face. Like he is so special that he has that 'gift.' Whatever. He can sucker you in with his fancy little lies and charisma.
Oh and don't forget to give mucho at the end of his service.:rolleyes

I'm astounded by this thread. I wonder which of us could stand up to this sort of harshness? I wonder which of us is perfect? Which teacher among us is perfect? Which pastor? I know that from time to time my own pastor makes mistakes. Should he be labeled then a false teacher? I know that God holds pastors and teachers to a higher standard but we are all human and so are they. It seems that some get great pleasure in hanging these people out to dry. Isn't that God's job? Who knows how many people are truly saved through the work of these men and God working through them?
I personally was saved through listening to JO week in and week out when I wouldn't step foot in a church. A few weeks ago I attended a service where TD Jakes spoke and over 200 people were saved. It was an excellent godly message with no hint of prosperity gospel in it. Seemed like a baptist bible teacher to me. He cut right to the heart of the gospel and people heard it. I took so many notes my hands hurt afterwards.
Rather than this type of stuff, maybe we should expend as much energy into praying for these men/women who are on the front lines. Do they mess up, of course they do. They need our prayers more than ever right now.
Wow!

What part don't you get? This is not about making "little" mistakes in teaching the bible, this is about not teaching the basic truth! And the real truth is way far from the WOF. It is a simple seduction and lies mixed in with just enough Jesus and faith that looks good. They have their whole cross message mixed up and their own agenda.
Let me ask...where do you think those 200 people that got saved are now with their faith? I seen him a few times. Spent a ton of money on his material which is in my garage now. :heh And he was one of my favorites. (I learned not to follow man anymore like I used too)
I have spent almost 8 years under the WOF and I know what it can do to a persons faith. I know many others also.
Nobody said that they don't pray for these people. I don't know where you got that from. I think it is a bigger issue that they are taking over and have a big 'seductive' influence. I think the big danger of them is that if you are under their teaching long enough, you will start to doubt your faith and give up on God and forget the whole point of Christianity.
And to end my little rant. I do feel like it IS OUR job to warn Christians about false teachers. This is not no nit pic thing.

They are doing allot of damage to our brothers and sisters. Allot of shipwrecked faith.
Its good that we speak up, they need to be shown as W.O.F and false.
Its not like we are pointing out the faults of a brother or sister who stumble, these guys influence allot of people and are taking in alot of $$$$$$$$$, plus they do not help our witness AT ALL.
It needs to be said, for the Church and to tell the New believers what to look out for.
