What about Ed Hindson on The King is Coming? I really like him, he's like the only one that doesn't give me a creepy feeling.

I like watching the Van Impes.

I'm sure I missed some.

Please add these current day preachers and also one who is not current day:

Rick Warren - opinions?

Joel Osteen - opinons?

Jack Van Impe - opinions?

Hal Lindsey - opinions?

John Wesley - opinions?

The reason I asked for mods/Admin is because this board has definite rules about being pre-trib and basically conservative (which I agree with) so as the board leaders I would like to defer to their opinions on these well known leaders. I'm sure others have their opinions also but I would prefer a starting point from the board leaders. I would think all the board leaders and admin are in concurrence on their opinions?? Is that correct?

I just want to have a starting point. However, if a link is given which obviously is not a good starting point - like a Newsweek link(very liberal)- obviously I'm not going to even begin to consider that. I wouldn't think anyone would have a problem with not accepting a very liberal leaning media link.

I might add that some of these on this list and the original list I already recongnize as apostate but it would be good for all on this board to see a comprehensive list which the Admin/Mods hold up as using false teaching.

This way we know where you stand up front just like we know where you stand on pre-trib and conservative issues. Thank you.

A false teacher teaches a false gospel, a different way to heaven other than through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ alone for salvation.

Do the people you named alll teach a different way to heaven other than the sacrifice of Jesus Christ?

I should clarify that firstlove as Buzz pointed that out earlier. I should add or have false teachings. Thank you for pointing that out. I will edit my posts now.

That wasn't much help in proving anything. :) The Worldnetdaily was actually quoting the most liberal news weekly magazine there is - Newsweek. I can see I'm definitely going to have to go right to the source BGEA. Newsweek would love to twist an aging Billy Graham's words to make him seem like a Universalist. It would greatly serve their purposes to do that. Newsweek also is owned by the left leaning Washington Post.

Palooka, do your own research. Please note where the article came from. It's always better to go to the source.

Looked like the article was quoting Billy Graham and I don't see how it could have been out of context. jmho.

Let me see, BGEA, does that stand for Billy Graham Evangelical Assoc? Are you worried that you may get biased info from them?

Why isn't Rick Warren on your list?
Is he a no brainer?

Rob Bell, Brian McClaren, the Whites..............

If you looked at the list I added Rick Warren earlier.

As for the ones you mentioned they are not nationally known to everyone. If the Admin/Mod wants to add them to the list that will be fine. I still would like the Admin to post a list of those who are considered false teachers/preachers and those who use false teachings in their mininistries. I'm not the only one who has asked for this.

Anyone who has followed the media for the last twenty years (at least that long) knows that they twist things to suit their agenda. A person's words can be taken out of context. Newsweek is the most liberal of the news weeklies. They would like nothing better than to have a man of Graham's stature in the Christian community besmirched.

Just like the mod was telling us we had to believe what he/she heard from Moores's own office. Why wouldn't I believe what BGEA told me? I certainly trust them more than Newsweek Magazine. And you may say "well, if you believe what BGEA office tells you why not Moore's office"? The difference is if I call them then(BGEA) I hear it with my own ears. It's not what someone else said they heard (from Moore's office). That's heresay. (not heresey).

I actually know there are some on the list who are false teachers and probably others who use false teaching.

I hope you get some good out of your private audience thread with the admin/mods. Let us know when the rest of us can apply and hear your research.

I think we all need to contribute to finding out the truth. We are not going to limit this thread to just mod/admin opinions. Everyone should feel free to post in this thread. :nod
