I've edited this again to take out the phrase false teacher. The guideline is those adding a false teaching to their ministry.
This is a thread I only wish mods/Admin to reply to. Would it be better to start a thread for each person(below)? The reason I'm asking this is that I have seen posts all over the place concerning these different preachers/teachers. I would like an area where they are addressed altogether.
I would like opinions on who you believe are adding a false teaching(s) in their ministries?
Billy Graham ?
Franklin Graham ?
Kay Arthur?
David Jeremiah?
Charles Stanley ?
Chuck Swindoll ?
John Haggee ?
Max Lacado ?
Chuck Colson?
Perry Stone ?
Binny Hinn ?
I'm sure I missed some.
Please add these current day preachers and also one who is not current day:
Rick Warren - opinions?
Joel Osteen - opinons?
Jack Van Impe - opinions?
Hal Lindsey - opinions?
John Wesley - opinions?
The reason I asked for mods/Admin is because this board has definite rules about being pre-trib and basically conservative (which I agree with) so as the board leaders I would like to defer to their opinions on these well known leaders. I'm sure others have their opinions also but I would prefer a starting point from the board leaders. I would think all the board leaders and admin are in concurrence on their opinions?? Is that correct?
I just want to have a starting point. However, if a link is given which obviously is not a good starting point - like a Newsweek link(very liberal)- obviously I'm not going to even begin to consider that. I wouldn't think anyone would have a problem with not accepting a very liberal leaning media link.
I might add that some of these on this list and the original list I already recongnize as apostate but it would be good for all on this board to see a comprehensive list which the Admin/Mods hold up as using false teaching.
This way we know where you stand up front just like we know where you stand on pre-trib and conservative issues. Thank you.

I am not an admin...but you just read my mind!! I was just thinking about making a new thread about this! It does get confussing, doesn't it?
I have wondered with all the different opinions and how is a person suppose to know??
I think I just learned through trial and error..so to say from my own spirit.. I bought books, traveled, got my heart broke and spirit.. drifted in so many ways from the Lord. An you know what? I still do not know sometimes when the truth is present and not. It can be really hard.
So I think I will make some popcorn.:idunno

Is Binny Hinn a false teacher?
There is a difference between a false teacher and false teachings.
Benny Hinn for sure is a false teacher, I would say false preacher because I don't think he teaches anything.
I grew up on Swindoll and Stanley,
Billy preached the gospel but has been swayed by the catholics in these last days.
Don't know much about the others.
Some of the others are flaky in their theology.

I prefer to do my own research and to also speak to people locally (in person) when I discuss a person's teaching. I would like a starting ground to do some comparison with those I speak with locally. I know some of the ones on the list I gave are considered false teachers by many Christians but I would like to hear the Admin and Mods opinion on each one. I prefer to keep it to the Admin and Mods because so many others opinions are all over the place.

So that's a yes for Binny Hinn. (no brainer :))
And a "yes" for Billy Graham teaching "falsely".

Okay I need to go to bed, but I will give you my opinion on some of them.:lol2
Binny, (so false and do ignore him, Don't even get me started on him.) One of his "take off's is Tim story. Seen him too. He married Dog the Bountry hunter. Haggee, oh he can sound so "sweet' with his teaching. (seen him a few) He compares women that do not have sex with their husband's the same as practicing witchcraft. Chuck- end times..false..
Kay I had a few books from her.. not!
Actually in the list. I would say Max and Charles are the real deal. Do you know why? Because they teach a very simple gospel. That is grace! It is pretty simple in the bible , but a lot of christians like to "destort" it for their own agenda.
Simple... stay with the grace teaching. You will see their big seed! Geez, I only think Larry King has tolerance for Billy and that is huge!

I would like a starting point. Binny Hinn was obvious. Now I will write to BGEA about Mr. Graham. Depending on what I find out I may have to cut off my financial support to them. That would be too bad considering what a wonderful ministry they've had.
