1 Corinthians 13

Love

1If I speak in the tongues[a (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=53&chapter=13&version=31#fen-NIV-28651a)] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,[b (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=53&chapter=13&version=31#fen-NIV-28653b)] but have not love, I gain nothing.

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me" (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Philippians 1:21

For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Pretty much sums up every part of the Christian life and hope.

john 3:17

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

OT

I have set the LORD always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Psalm 16:8

NT

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU, than he that is in the world.
1 John 4:4My favorite scripture has always been 1st John 4:4
Ye are of God little children and have overcome them: because Greater is HE than he that is in the world. When I saw your posting and how you put the same pic as I use, I couldn't help but write to you. Awesome!

This was my Aunt's favorite scripture(who is now with the Lord) . Habakkuk 3:19 "The Lord God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds(mountain deer) feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places ."

John 6;44
44No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The verse I read when I realized God was drawing me to Him, then, and only then, did I accept Jesus and was Saved.
