The Hamas rulers of the Gaza Strip are pressuring local Christians to either become Muslims or leave the area, according to Palestinian officials who spoke to Middle East Newsline.
The charge comes less than a week after reports revealed that Gaza's top female academic had been abducted and forced to convert and marry a Muslim man.

Right. Since to die is gain in Jesus' name...I just as soon become a martyr for His cause, rather than bow to the great :devil (Allah). Wouldn't you?

What I found intersting was that it was the colleagues of the "top academic woman" that turned her in. That speaks about no true friendship or loyalty to anything or anyone outside of Islam.
I pray that the Holy Spirit will be strong and mighty upon our brrothers and sisters in Christ under persecution in Gaza.

Remember what Christ said in Luke chapter 20 concerning the last days?
"You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers, relatives and friends and they will put some of you to death."
See and similarities?

Yup, LisaJo, I do. :nod I wish you or someone else would please read I Thessalonians 4:10-12, and please tell me what it means. Because if it means what I think it does, then I shall go ahead and obey it, since the Lord knows best in these matters, doesn't He? :nod
