I have been watching this from my loungeroom window for the past hour and a half. I was really weird like the Atmosphere was on Fire. The Sun has finally come up and it is just a pink dust haze now.

There are some pictures on the web link above to show you what I woke up to this morning.

My bedroom window was glowing red through the blinds when I stirred early this morning and I ran outside thinking there was some sort of Bushfires. Found we had a howling wind and the eerie Red Sky, dust everywhere. Pretty scarey like one of those "End of the World" TV shows.

We will have dust probably all day. The car is covered in dust. Just as well I didn't start out Spring Cleaning yet, I normally start with doing the windows.

Hey Mitsy, I am from Queensland - I did see pictures of your eery awakening this morning. It projects your mind to the Tribulation Period to imagine what the population will awaken to at various stages! Certainly interesting times we live in!

Yeah that is what I thought about it.

How are your fires? I heard this morning you have a few up there at the moment.

How eerie! Is it a fine dust? Gosh that looks like it could make life really uncomfortable.

Wow. I can't imagine what that must look like up close and personal. I'd be concerned about that stuff getting into my lungs. Things just keep getting curiouser and curiouser.

That is reminiscent of the stories of the great dust bowl of the 30's in the states. Here is a good article (http://memory.loc.gov/learn//features/timeline/depwwii/dustbowl/dustbowl.html) about it. Ours lasted the better part of a decade. I hope yours isn't that long.

Yep it's fine Red Dust. I have memories of living out in the country when dust storms have hit (I was a kid back then of course). The wind would come up all at once and you would have to scramble around the house closing all the windows. Putting any kind of old towel where it can get in under doors or around windows. If you were lucky it would only last one or two days at most.

We are apparently going to have high winds for the next two days but not as severe and we don't expect this kind of dust along with it. Hopefully it will rain again tonight and wash some of this dirt away.

Lots of people were interviewed on the TV this morning and they all said it was really freaky. Just before I left to pop up to our local shops they had the Sydney Anglican Archbishop on being interviewed about the Churches current advertisements for God and Jesus. A good day to be talking to people about the need for Australians to think about God and come to Church to find out about Jesus. Hopefully there may be a few turning up to their local Church this Sunday after this freaky dust storm.

I pray that many will be afraid from this and everything else that has been going on and go to church to hear the gospel..God bless you, stay safe..:hug
