Do the worshippers in your church raise their hands and arms during the worship and praise service?

depends on the denomination, there are some "traditional" ones out here that feels this type of "worship" is not Biblically founded therefore do not believe in it.
I'm curious, which denominations and why don't they think raising a hand is okay?

Psalm 134:2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.
I think about 25 percent of our church members probably lift their hands
in worship. I attend a Fundamental Independant Baptist church.

I do it. To me its a natural part of prayer and worship.
I know that some denominations deny that the spirit of the Living God
can manifest in such a way. Prim and Proper, they want us to sit on our
hands. ha ha....
To each his own. I love to worship the Lord with hands raised in adoration of my King.

I would say that is many. I think if even if 10% did that would be many. 1% or less would be a few. "None" would be 0 - not even one person. The poll is not meant to be an indictment on any particular style. I'm just curious. I've attended churches which fall in all three categories. All of the churches were biblical and none seemed more committed to Jesus than the other.

I voted many. We have a band and music worship/praise service with a projection screen with the words and appropriate inspirational pictures on it.
When the Spirit moves I raise my hands and so do a whole lot of other people.
I normally wear makeup but don't to church because when the Spirit hits I cry. First time at this church I think I frightened and scared a small child for life with my raccoon eyes.:aha

By the way do any of you feel the Spirit and feel the need to fall on your face prostrate and praise/worship the Lord? I do. However, I've not done it in church but do it at home when listening to Christian music and doing Bible study.
One song by MercyMe always makes me do this......"All Fall Down"
"All Fall Down"
Your Word Oh Lord is eternal
It stands firm
Your faithfulness continues through all the earth
All creation hangs on Your every word
With the sound of Your voice
Water stills, You are Lord over all
With the touch of Your robe, sick are healed
For You Jesus we all fall down
My soul finds rest and comfort
From only You
My fortress and my rock
I won't be moved
You are my cornerstrone, who's love endures
With the sound of Your voice
Water stills, You are Lord over all
With the touch of Your robe, sick are healed
For You Jesus we all fall down
And I praise You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made
And I praise You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made
With the sound of Your voice
Water stills, You are Lord over all
With the touch of Your robe, sick are healed
For You Jesus we all fall down
With the sound of Your voice
Water stills, You are Lord over all
With the touch of Your robe, sick are healed
For You Jesus we all fall down
we fall down, we fall down
The chorus is my ring tone for my cell phone:
With the sound of Your voice
Water stills, You are Lord over all
With the touch of Your robe, sick are healed
For You Jesus we all fall down
