Even if I accepted the analysis of those two articles, which I don't, I've never understood why people think marrying our Dollar to the Peso, would be something that would be helpful to our currency in any way...

I've never understood why people think marrying our Dollar to the Peso, would be something that would be helpful to our currency in any way... I don't know anyone that would find it helpful other than the NWO folk. It would be very damaging to the US and Canada. Before they can bring into being, the Amero, they would have to bring the peso up a lot and the US and Canadian dollars down quite a bit. They need something closer to equitable before unifying (for the good of all, of course. :rolleyes ).

This is kind of long but I copied the gist of the article. America stopped being America a long long time ago. ************************************************** ******

The Bankruptcy of The United States
United States Congressional Record, March 17, 1993 Vol. 33, page H-1303
________________________________________
Speaker-Rep. James Traficant, Jr. (Ohio) addressing the House:

The Federal Reserve System is a sovereign power structure separate and distinct from the federal United States government. The Federal Reserve is a maritime lender, and/or maritime insurance underwriter to the federal United States operating exclusively under Admiralty/Maritime law. The lender or underwriter bears the risks, and the Maritime law compelling specific performance in paying the interest, or premiums are the same.

Assets of the debtor can also be hypothecated (to pledge something as a security without taking possession of it.) as security by the lender or underwriter. The Federal Reserve Act stipulated that the interest on the debt was to be paid in gold. There was no stipulation in the Federal Reserve Act for ever paying the principle.

Prior to 1913, most Americans owned clear, allodial title to property, free and clear of any liens or mortgages until the Federal Reserve Act (1913)
"Hypothecated" all property within the federal United States to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, -in which the Trustees (stockholders) held legal title. The U.S. citizen (tenant, franchisee) was registered as a "beneficiary" of the trust via his/her birth certificate. In 1933, the federal United States hypothecated all of the present and future properties, assets and labor of their "subjects," the 14th Amendment U.S. citizen, to the Federal Reserve System.

In return, the Federal Reserve System agreed to extend the federal United States corporation all the credit "money substitute" it needed. Like any other debtor, the federal United States government had to assign collateral and security to their creditors as a condition of the loan.

Since the federal United States didn’t have any assets, they assigned the private property of their "economic slaves", the U.S. citizens as collateral against the unpayable federal debt. They also pledged the unincorporated federal territories, national parks forests, birth certificates, and nonprofit organizations, as collateral against the federal debt. All has already been transferred as payment to the international bankers.

From 1971 to 1981, after receiving his Masters degrees, Jim Traficant served as the director of the Mahoning County (Ohio) Drug Program. He was elected Sheriff of Mahoning County in 1980 and served in that capacity until he won his seat in the United States House of Representatives in 1984. Congressman Traficant has served in the House of Representatives since his first election to that august body in 1984. In this past election, even with five people running for his seat, when he had publicly predicted that a Federal indictment was imminent, Congressman Traficant won by some 50% of the vote in his district!

It was during his tenure as Sheriff that Jim Traficant first encountered and irritated a certain FBI agent. This agent ultimately saw to it that Jim Traficant was indicted on Federal Racketeering charges, commonly know as RICO, in the early 1980's.

Sheriff Traficant refused to resign upon being indicted, represented himself in Federal Court, AND WON!

He is the only person in the United States who, representing himself in Federal Court, has beaten the Government Attorneys in a RICO case. Most of us understand that Government Attorneys and FBI agents are not apt to forget such a humiliating experience.
The same FBI official who initially brought the charges against Jim Traficant back in the 1980's is the man in charge of the present investigation. What has Congressman Traficant done to raise the ire of the FBI between 1983 and the present? Could the humiliation of a previous loss account for this dogged pursuit of many years duration? Are there still other humiliating issues that add fuel to the fire?

Congressman Traficant is against any strong-arm tactics of Government officials levelled at any citizen. He is against waste, fraud, and abuse in Government agencies. This consistent behavior in blowing the whistle on our own Government's flagrant inadequacies has been rejected by the Democratic Party and the Republicans keep Jim at arms length. It is unfortunate that a Congressman behaving as a statesman and not a compliant politician is unacceptable to either party.

The same speeches that enlighten citizens, step on numerous toes with abandon, some who believe they have unlimited power!

We've taken the time to provide you with some of these 'one minutes' in four categories. We believe that you will be both entertained and informed by reading them. They may help you understand WHY Congressman Traficant is feared and vilified as the powerful protect the powerful. These 'one minutes' will also show you why he has a very loyal following.

Only a limited number of 1997 'one minutes' have been presented in their entirety here because linkage is impossible.

Obstensibly it would be beneficial in that the entire national debt is payable in dollars. If the dollar is no longer the currency of the US, that debt may as well be paid in monopoly money.

It isnt just marrying currency, it is modeling a union after the EU which creates a super free trade zone with regulating policies on all economies involving import/exports and goes beyond money though the ultimate goal is to stabilize and streamline the import/export markets and make more money.

The EU is an economic union of member states that answer collectively to a "higher government" voted into place by member states. The sovereignty of each member state is shattered because in order to be compliant as a member, each nation agrees to be held accountable to the EU government, enforcement agencies and systems of law controlling who sells what and how product is sold/shipped.

The entire setup makes it easier to enforce regulation and law/policies within the voted "higher government" because you agree to be a part of the great collective, each economy is dependant on the other to ensure "fair" and equal opportunity to ensure economic growth for each member state. Any nation that chooses to ignore policy or laws governing how they do business basically puts themselves at risk of sanction by the rest of the member states and at risk of being the red-headed stepchild until they comply or worse.

The political monster that is the EU, which started as a trading zone agreement between Germany and France (?) now is involved with middle-east policy, the oil and import markets in Europe are dealing in Euro rather than the American dollar which has been the standard for multiple decades and since money talks-they have become a force to be reckoned with in the global warming and any PC fad that America refuses to participate in such as Kyoto and Mid-East policy.

Why should any oil producing nation respect the US now that the Euro is taking over.

Unfortunately to remain competitive we have to join a NAU to stay in the game that the EU is taking over. There is an Asian Union under proposition, The Carribean Community has a strong economic Union, The African Union is in place and look the rest up.. we ae close to 10 unions now unless i am mistaken. Sound like the world is just giving it all up with blinders on for money... how rich in irony this will be when the AC takes over all Unions under one flag of world government

Traficant?? You're using Traficant? Isn't he currently sitting in jail after being convicted of taking bribes, filing false tax returns, and racketeering?

The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

Wanna make some real money? Wait a month or so and then rush in and buy all of the blue chip growth companies you can find, and when the dow is at 18,000 in a few years, cash in. Now is your chance!

Markets go up and markets go down, then back up, and then back down.

Why do we seldom hear about the markets when they are booming? :scratch

You can't rush the rapture with bad economic news. The rapture might happen on a day when the market has broken all previous records.
