Hello from the Netherlands!

I've been a looooong time lurker. For at least a year, but couldn't register for some reason. While I'm agnostic about christianity I am not blind to changes in my country and those changes are really bad in my eyes.

I like the news... well.. used to liked the news and famous dutch news forums are...
well.... let's say this year the Dutch news forums, Dutch newspapers and magazines are..... they're influencing the public. I can see it very obviously now. Up to a point where the newspapers are almost setting the rules.

So I get this feeling -> :candle quite often now as they felt like curse words should be used as often as possible so news headlines contain them these days and I hate crudeness. Almost everyone I know uses them more and more often it's weird. Sometimes they make exceptions (a child enters the room for example) and then suddenly their conversation and their characters change completely (to utter silence as they usually curse in every sentence multiple times with no exceptions).
It's like I'm living in the twilight zone or see a parallel universe.

It wasn't like this ten years ago.... I want to ramble on this further, but it's bedtime for me now. It's like so occupying me... I even seriously think about fleeing the country as I fear this is going to cause civil war. It's going completely out of hand at a very fast pace and accelerating. With it I mean the media trying to run my country. They have their own lynch mob.

I hope we can be some comfort to you, and may your fears rest in the Lord, because He controls all. Pray, pray, read the Bible, love God, it seems so easy and yet, it means so much to HIM.

Our God is an awesome God.:pray
