The Vineyard was heavily criticized in the early years of the movement and accused many times of promoting heresy due to the sometimes-controversial teachings of John Wimber relating to spiritual gifts and the claims of unusual experiences of the Holy Spirit in the church, often referred to as "manifestations". Such manifestations of the Spirit included shaking and uncontrollable, hysterical laughter

I attend a Vineyard Church
This past sunday they asked the Holy Spirit to "Come" My Hands started shaking uncontrollably! I fear this may have been forces of darkness!! We are truly in the last days if Demons are appearing in our Church guising themselves as the Holy Spirit!!

I would strongly urge you -- if you haven't done so already -- to leave that church. I once attended a church that was into charismania, a totally unbiblical approach to the charisma of the Bible, and they also had all kinds of "signs and wonders" which were more like "manifestations of chaos and disorder".

Try to find a church here near you www.calvarychapel.com

Stay strong and focused on the Lord and His Truth. :hug

Vineyards are primarily a "Flesh Fest" type of church. Putting their personal experiences(flesh) on a higher pedestal than God's word.

Their reasoning is that if they had an experience felt good or spiritual, it must be good and from God even when it goes against scripture.

Satan is the great imitator. his best trick is to take a gift of God and imitate it to fool the sheep. Our only guide to know if something is real is if it happened the way scriptures tells us it will. God is not the author of confusion ;)

I'd flee the place personally.

Thats always tough when you leave behind church family you are close to. We love our church family and will miss them terribly, but we gotta move.

So I'll be in the same boat you are facing :nod
There IS a CC near where we are moving to, and as excited as I was to see that, we are still praying for discernment on what we see and hear while checking them out. We personally are going to have to override our own affection for Calvary Chapels to be sure that this new one is just as sound as the one we are leaving. :nod
