Something like, let's say we are studying ancient Egypt, then science would have simple machines. Or with Explorers then they would study wave currents or astronomy. Something where science is tied into the history.

This is an all inclusive unit study, that covers all subjects except for math. Some supplement may be needed based on the needs of your individual children, but it starts with Ancient Egypt, and they are now going all the way through to the 20th century. I used this a couple years ago, and I loved it. I will be using it again. It's actually meant to be used from 4th through 8th grade, but it's adaptable to younger children, if you are homeschooling different age groups.

Wife,
I use Time4Learning..... I have an 8yr old, and she loves it! It's very Interactive with the student, and the parent. It enables the Parent to adjust levels if they are too difficult. It goes in sequence, each idea building upon another.
The Units studied are : Math, English, Science and History. You can also use Library Aids to Supplement the Program, too. It's awesome, I love it b/c I can chart their progress, they have quizzes, and tests. All at your fingertips for you to review.
Let me know if you have any questions regarding the Program.
You can also go to www.Time4Learning.com.
