Please start a prayer chain that my sister and I and my cousin ( who is a Baptist minister) can break the bondage this cult has on my niece, in Alpharetta, Ga.
She has been seduced by this doctrine of devils.

I became aware of IHOP thru GodTV (ch. 365 on DirecTV) and it seemed awesome that this body of believers would have people praying over KC, the US and the world 24/7. I still think the concept is awesome, but since I've read the numerous threads here on Bikle and IHOP, I'm not sure they're the kind of believers I want praying over our nation and world.
It's amazing that it all seems so harmless and Biblical until, like many here have done, you start digging into their beliefs, their practices, their associates. I probably would have never known any of this about IHOP if it wasn't for RR.

That was VERY nice of your to say, heybales.. it truly was.. Praying that more eyes open to the apostasies that are now prevalent, in Jesus' name, amen.

The Bible says to test the Spirits check out the fruits of their labors. The more I research this guy that started IHOP the more I find of his "corporate" mentality ie "money" and the more their labors smell like rotten fruits. The guy who started it in Kansas City is a retired IT specialist. Their mission statement reads like a corporate human resources handbook. They start out with a good game talk the talk walk the walk so to speak until you get behind door #2 so to speak. Then they start telling you that the Bible is equipping modern day prophets and prophetess' to spread the last days message.
My niece was raised in a Bible believeing Southern Baptist Church she is saved and is a wonderful singer/ muscian. They know have her talking and singing in tounges, without interpreters.
They now have my niece convinced to quit her job sell her car and pour all her asssets into the "church" so they can prepare her for the mission field in Africa.
