Interseting that speculation (for the last several years) about the US ecconomy being the primary reason it wasn't mentioned in the bible, is now showing signs of actualy happening.

Thank you all for the wealth of information all of you provided.

I don't know what my observation will be worth but one thing that has frustrated me and even angered me regarding the housing developers is the monstrosity of homes in size they are building.

Everywhere I have seen new housing, the houses are enormous. 2500-3000 sq feet...all being built on top of each other...going for 250-300,000. Those homes require a lot of energy usage & a lot of furniture.

Not everyone makes that kind of income to buy those expensive home. Not everyone has 5 kids! ..............Oh yeah...it's an investment! Puulease!

:thumb I agree......thanks. I'm not good at economics either. But, I figured we were in trouble when the feds starting raising the interest rates at an alarming pace.

They were low for a good while, then they skyrocketed. I guess someone wasn't making enough money.:heh
