deleting bookmarks problem

anyone else have AT&T DSL?
I'm trying to delete some of my bookmarks on the AT&T browser and when I click delete it say's " failed to delete item" what's going on??

1) access "My Computer"...

2) then "C:" drive...

3) then "Documents and Settings"...

4) double click on your user name to access folder...

5) go into "Favorites" folder...

6) delete any bookmarks you don't want.
