Notice how # 2 makes fun of Bible students and #4 makes fun of Charismatics

and the theme is "Christian No More" ?

the emphasis is "Christ follower" someone on the path to salvation.

And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again. Mark 10:34

the emphasis is "Christ follower" someone on the path to salvation.

I think this is a clever cunning ploy by satan to use "Christ follower" to repackage the old cross-less "Christianity". It sounds so biblical and appealing to man's ears: after all, who wants to be seen as believing in easy-believism? Who doesn't want to believe the whole parcels of the Bible?

Unfortunately, the whole "Christ's walk paradigm" emphasises Jesus's teaching so much such that He has virtually become a great moral teacher and the cross has virtually become a footnote in belief. Even in the implementation of things there is one errorenous assumption: all people will simply accept the gospel, notwithstanding that the Bible teaches otherwise and ignoring that if someone repeatedly rejects what we preach, rather than "modifying our communications to engage the hearers and make them more relevant" as the emergents and seeker sensitive proponents call, Jesus told us to get out. (Mark 6:11) [Curiously, no one from Rick Warren or seeker sensitive movement or the Emergent Church likes to mention Mark 6:11]. They also ignore that the Pauline epistles are the most direct relevance to us.

Another deadly sin of this movement is the earth-bound focus caused the chruch to seek the secular world's approval. It might sugarcoat it with terms like "radical", "changing", "counterculture - countering to the established norms", "nonconforming", in fact it is conforming to the secular chattering class intellectuals grown up after 1960, it conforms to the current generation of aging 1960s far-left elements in places like the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, and Vermont, people like Howard Dean (comparing the political stance of Rob Bell with, say, Dean and you can see they have much in common). Come on guys, these people are the new Establishment even though they may still talk like "marginalized type". You may fool some, but you can't fool all.

I have also noticed they do not hold absolute inerrancy of the Bible - quite a few believe that the 4 Gospels are inerrant (so far so good), but do not believe Pauline Epistles are inerrant. They also believe "if it feels good, it must be Christian" - and buying into all sorts of do-good socialism. (Perhaps repeating the same past errors by the worldly-in-focus Christians. The social democratic very-left-leaning New Democratic Party of Canada was founded by a Baptist preacher, and much of the early socialist Fabian Society's members were 'devout' Church of England or Methodist Christians).

And this may probably sum up the whole thing: saying "Christ follower" indicates nothing the sayer's attitude's towards Jesus's identity. I may say I am a Sowell follower, or a Hu Jianto follower as long as I follow their ideology. It is simply too misleading - many who say they are "Christ followers" may simply be like "I like Jesus's moral teaching, but I disagree that He is God!" which then nullifies the most critical part of why Jesus was begotten as man.
