I'm pretty sure scripture would mention if Lazarus was taken up into heaven on the day of Christ's ascension.

It doesn't say that. Lazarus was raised back to natural life. He died another natural death.

The only ones 'raised' at Christ's death were those who were already dead... not the living (such as Lazarus).

Inspite of the Lazarus point, there were people in the old testament who were raised to life after dying (only to naturally die again). Off the top of my head, the widow's son at Nain was raised to life by Elijah after dying (presumably to live a normal life, only to die again).

Furthermore, there was a man tossed into a pit whom touched Elisha's bones... when touching Elisha's bones, he was also raised back to life.

People have died twice before. Saying Moses can't die twice is silly.

I just started reading 2008 God's Final Witness, and about fell off the couch when he stated he was one of the witnesses. ::aha:shocked

One thing that got me thinking, and I know one of you guys will be able to put my mind at ease, is that God rested on the 7th day and declared it the Sabbath;therefore, we should be observing the Sabbath on Saturday. He states that any other day of observance is wrong and against God's law. He references
the fourth commandment and states that if you break one, you have broken them all. I know there is a scripture for that too.

So it got me to thinking:thinking, am I sinning by going to Church on Sunday morning?:idunno:

agree with you on this one Sydney Spider. I came across a Bible study on line.. it looked good until I started getting into it. And, wham... I saw that it was one full of holes and it was afflilated wth the WCOG. I wrote the one that was "assigned" to oversee my study. I started showing him were scripture showed their teaching was false. He stopped emailing me!!!

You are not sinning by going to Church on Sunday. We worship God every day. We go to Church service to be fed. Anytime 2 or more meet to worship God, He is in the midst of them.

Mat 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

I don't think it matters. God knows we can not know which day is the 7th day. As long as we accept that the 7th day is a sabbath day, we still conform to Gods wishes. Which day doesn't matter, as long as we allow rest on the 7th day.
