Karen B and Robyn Welcome and so good to have you. I've known of this board for almost 4 years now, and applied two years ago, and couldn't got onboard. To this day I don't know if they thought I'd be one too many, or if I messed up by losing my password or something, so I let it go and was on two other Christian forums, both of which shut down, apparently because it was getting to be too burdensome to the owner/manager, which is unfortunate.
I've been on this one now, as I always wanted to, for 2-3 months now, and it's been good fellowship and encouragement, plus learning a lot from other fellow believers.

I especially think it's always neat to have fellow believers from all over the world, who give an extra valuable perspective in these times. I've never been to the Netherlands, but I would love to visit there, and other continental European and Scandinavian countries someday before I eventually kick it, or get yanked upstairs.

Again Robyn and Karen B Welcome:hat:

Hi WhitemoonG and fishersofmen,
if anyone would ever visit the Netherlands they're very welcome to visit me too!I always feel a special bond with fellow believers all over the world,we are one in Yeshua after all! Every week I get an e-mail from Voice of the martyrs and Open Doors (the last one is in Dutch, from here) with news from christians all over the world and what to pray for. There's also a 3-year prayer chain (ending the end of this year) for North Korea (which is country #1 on the persecution list of Open Doors). Every minute of every day there is someone (1 to 5 persons) praying for North Korea. You pray for 10 minutes when it's your turn. My turn is always saturday night from 20 past 1 till half past 1. The first friday evening till saturday morning of june there's always the Night of Prayer. In many places christians come together to watch a film from Open Doors in which christians from all over the world tell about what happened to them and others and also to testify what God has done. After every single country we pray for the christians there. It is one of the most impressive happenings of the year. This year we started with Indonesia where 3 women were imprisoned. The week after we prayed a miracle happened: the judge said they could be released early (normally that never happens,it's always turned down!) and then they were free!
Our God is an awesome God
He reigns from heaven above
with wisdom,power and love
our God is an awesome God.
(I know that song from Precious Memories, a program broadcasted by a christian tv station here called Family7 and this is one of my favourite songs!)
