When I read the news, and see what is happening on a daily basis, I see God's hand in everything, and I feel "beckoned".


When I use the word "beckoned", I mean, God shows me daily that His Word is true and that what He said will happen is happening. Short of standing with Him face to face, I "see" Him work every day. I may not be seeing His body and face, but I see the result of His power, majesty, love, longsuffering, grace, goodness, faithfulness and every other good adjective I can think of.

I have the indescribable joy of seeing His Word come alive before my eyes, every day. What a privilege!

With opened spiritual eyes, I see Him "beckoning". He is right at the door.

I have been feeling and hearing things that make me believe it is very close.

1 Some new age enlightenment group out their is saying that the unenlightened people who are holding back the world will be taken away in silver space craft.

2 Israel is being Isolated

3 Econimic and political power is already being shifted to Europe (read that Reborn Roman empire)

4 The call for a one world Government

5 The soon unveiling of the (Others or Watchers or ET's) which i do believe is true.And they are demonic

6 The fact that Turkey is beginning to Fit into its role for the Ezekial prophecies.

7 And i just feel something deep in my spirit that the Lord is not going to delay any longer.
Everything is being set for the tribulation hour and now that its set ,we just await the starting Gun.
The catalyst that will trip things into motion.
And I believe that Catalyst will be the Removal of all of the Believers in Jesus Christ from the earth.


We won't need a silver space craft--we're going to blast off into space in our resurrection bodies! :yeah

It won't take long, now, for the catalyst to set things in motion.

I think the rapture will happen soon, but DH and I continue to contribute to our retirement account, and our kids' college accounts (although not as much right now because I don't want to see it melt in Obama's stock market! but that's another discussion).

Think of it as a wedding that you're invited to but you're also one of the bridesmaids. You can daydream and look forward to the wedding all you want, but you're still needed to help address the wedding invitations.

I think he is beckoning us....

As others have mentioned in quite a few threads, God is weaning us from the world. That is why so many of us feel "off"....you know, like something is not right . What we see and hear, our discernment is at a all time high. We are reaching out to unsaved loved ones, just begging them to come to Christ. We are being mocked and ostracized. Attacked left and right by the enemy. We are seeking solace and shelter amongst our fellow believers...here at RR, many have expressed this is the only place they feel safe and comfortable.

We are having lots of discussions, some getting heated, but people are really humbling themselves and saying, I'm sorry, I was wrong. We are really pulling together and starting to come together in near agreement.

God is removing people, places and things from our lives. Our hearts just long and long and long for Jesus every minute of the day....

He is not just beckoning us, he is shouting in a mighty loud loving voice, and HIS children hear him. By the time the trump sounds, there won't be any noise of the world left in us to drown it out. God is clearing out our eardrums with one big giant Q-tip.....:yeah :yeah :yeah

I feel he is beckoning us as well. He says when you begin to see these things..LOOK UP!!! I feel that the Lord would have me watching and waiting. This is not a time to be messing around. This is the time to STAND FIRM. Tell others, be strong...Our bridegroom is beckoning his bride...He is wooing us..closer...come on...closer...it's almost time, watch and see...it's soon!

Maybe I'm just not clued in to what you all mean by "beckoning".

The dictionary defines it thus:


1. To make a signaling or summoning gesture.
2. To be inviting or enticing.
n.
A gesture of summons.

While YES, I agree, there are plenty of "signals" around that end-times prophecy is being fulfilled, or will be fulfilled soon..... I don't see Jesus making any "summoning gestures" to let us know he's arriving tomorrow or the next day. :scratch

I also don't think that this idea of "Jesus beckoning" and going by feelings, is supported in scripture. We KNOW He's coming "imminently" which means, at any time. He did NOT say he'd be dropping hints that his arrival would be at any specific time.

The fact that when Jesus spoke of these things, he said that even HE didn't know the date of His return, negates for me any "feeling in my spirit" that it's going to happen tomorrow. Sure, it could happen tomorrow, but I don't think the Spirit knows. If Jesus doesn't know, then I don't think the Holy Spirit knows either..... at best, He confirms to us that the signs we see are true and that our Bridegroom will be returning for us at any time.

IMO :scratch I'd love to see some scripture on this "beckoning" and "feeling in your spirit" ideology.......

First, off, nobody said He is arriving tomorrow or the next day. We are not discussing physical days, as far as I'm concerned.

If you want scripture and physical manifestations of His coming, read anything to do with the Great Tribulation or the End Times. You can "see" better once you read that everything is lining up just like He said.

If you believe in the PRE-tribulation rapture like we do on this board, then, if the tribulation looks close, then the rapture is closer!

Beckoning does not necessarily mean the physical manifestation of a "hand that is beckoning". God speaks through His actions, through events, through everyday occurrences, through your life. He is intertwined in everything as far as I'm concerned.

So, since I've read descriptions of the Great Tribulation in the bible, and I know God has His hand on Israel as a barometer, I can see what is happening by knowing current events.

Night Elf, I will not discuss this subject with you any further. It is okay with me if you disagree with what I've said. I do not desire to be right. I desire to be conformed to the image of Christ. Anything else is superfluous.

Each of us is different and I do not expect everyone who is a follower of Christ to agree on everything. That being said, I may be "seeing" you soon and we will both see Him face to face. Be blessed.

2. Right now the battle lines are being clearly drawn. In the recent past it was much harder to see the line between evil and good. Our national moralitly led those that were evil to hide, to pretend to go with the idea of a "Christian Nation". Today they feel free to do evil in bright daylight. They feel free to call "evil", "good". They feel free to say God sees no difference between those that belong to this world and those that belong to Him. They state that all will be saved and the road to paradise is wide and crooked. Or they state that there is no Heaven and no Hell so it matters not what one believes nor what one does. They want you to believe that either Jeffery D. is now non-existant or that he will have the mansion accross that street of gold from you without any need for the Blood of Christ.

BUT today we also see the WORD OF GOD clearer and plainer than ever before. God is opening the mysteries of his Word to his children. His Truth is finding it's way to many people through ordinary and extra-ordinary means. His Gospel is being heard in every country. He is calling people out of all so called religions. He is sifting the Christian Chruch, wheat from chaff. The battle lines are being drawn, and one day soon the total army of God will be drawn to march behind our Captain as He alone ends the evil, the suffering and the tears and brings his awesome light to this darkened world. Right now I'm both :ohno and :yeah. Come quickly!
