You can't do any works to get saved, you can't do any works to get unsaved. As a matter of fact if you think your works are helping insure you are saved, you have rejected the sacrifice Jesus made once, and for all. Look at this scripture. It's basically saying, if you think your working your way, you will be judged on those works, and you'll fall short every-time. But if you rely on Christ's sacrifice and trust God, he won't see your sin.
Romans 4:4 Now when a man works, his wages are not credited to him as a gift, but as an obligation.
Romans 4:5 However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness.

Which means those not fully trusting in the blood of Christ is actually committing blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and cannot be forgiven

I'm contunually feeling "not worthy" (remember that thing we always had to say 3 times before taking communion?). Those "darts of doubt" are always there, as if I have to "do" something. There's always a battle going on for me , telling me I'm not worthy of going to heaven.

your feeling is true, our decaying bodies are not worthy
But the facts of scripture reveal we are sealed unto redemption until God transforms our bodies into the image of Jesus!
Then we are worthy and shine forth as God's people!
Our spirits are enlivened now and live forever!

Daughter, you HAVE to trust in Christ and Christ alone. Like the chair you are sitting in. Are YOU doing anything to make that chair support you?
We all have to put our faith and surrendered will totally in CHrist and his sacrifice and gift of eternal life. THEN we ARE worthy and made white as snow.

I was brought up and still attend Baptist church and I feel "not worthy" quite frequently, as I'm sure lots of people do. I think that's just part of our human emotions.

Uh, I kind of find that hard to swallow. Nobody's attributing the works of Christ to Satan in a case like this.

ACtually, IF a person is not trusting in Jesus and Jesus alone, adding nothing, taking away nothing from His sacrifice, that IS blasphemy of the HOly Spirit.
Read Galatians ch 1 and 2.

But the Galatians could be forgiven. They had not committed the unpardonable sin. Paul would not have gone to such lengths to convince them in his letter if they had been a lost cause.

When the devil reminds your of your past, remind him of his future. And remember none is worthy, no not one. If we were good enough, Jesus wouldn't have had to die. The Crucifixion was a perfect example, you had the one guy representing the bitter, unrepentant person, telling Jesus, "If you are really who you say you are, get us down from here" But then, in sharp contrast you have the humble thief that says, "I believe you are the Son of God" and Jesus says to him "Tonight you will be in paradise". Remember...John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have EVERLASTING life.
If everlasting life isn't everlasting, its got the wrong name.
