Its 1 Corinthians that she is questioning...
no, that was for saved by grace 06. oops, no, that was for leialoha, lol, uggh. that was my answer to her about the rev. verse and why I hadnt actually questioned it. Whether I am right or wrong, why i havent questioned it before, guess I will study it now just because it has become a question.

I have absolutely no authority. I never assumed anything about you. I'm just responding to your posts. I never said a small remnant is saved from the beginning of time.
You seem extremely angry and bitter to the point where you won't even look at the verse you misused and accept that it was used wrongly for that picture. Look back and read my posts and TRY to show me where I said any of the things you have accused me of saying.
I don't think there is any reasoning with you, and I'm sad about that because I have gently written each word with great care. Revelation 3:20 does not prove nor does it disprove if Jesus knocks on every single heart of every person who ever breathes life. It has nothing to do with salvation, it is speaking about the Church. I'm not sure why you are bringing this back to Calvinism.
I'd love to continue conversing with you, but it seems like you simply want to argue and disagree with everything I post. I'm not sure I should engage with that, or that it would benefit much for anyone.
You and SavedbyGrace are tag teaming here..
No where did I misuse that scripture... only in your mind did I. You can believe what you want... but I will take God's Holy Word over man's flaws any day.
Then don't.. no one is holding you down and say you have to converse. I just ask that you two stop promoting the Calvinist approach to the Holy Bible.
I'm not angry.. I don't understand why you think I am. Just because I will not bow down and give in to the ways of the Calvinist viewpoints. I think it is ungodly to come on a site where many different denominations are here.. where some babes in Christ are visiting... and see the promotion of one view of theology here. Its just not right! IMHO

and one stated in a thread here.
what are you talking about in this point celtic? If I have made an error, please say so, My end is to get to what the whole truth is, even if it means my pryor understanding is wrong.
The bible always has the last say in my mind and heart.
This is my stance as well. I was at one time very threatened by the idea of giving up my prior understanding but I just want the whole truth. What I can't understand, I will accept it until God grants me eyes to see and ears to hear. This is my soul's greatest desire to know my God as deeply as possible. What else is there...really?

SavedbyGrace wanted you to look up the word "called out" from 1 Corinthians 1:24... which only has called within that passage.
I might have missed that passage you put in... I know one of her last ones was about 1 Corinthians 1:24
my bad here ... blessing.. I thought it was the one to saved... I didn't see the other when I replied to you

tag teaming? :doh
Oh if only I had the time in a day to work that sophisticatedly!
I actually think that there most likely would be many points that Saved by Grace and I would have different understandings on. I think, however that it would be a good conversation regardless.
Your asking me to stop promoting or discussing something I think the bible has woven throughout the old and new testament? And you think I'm being hard-nosed? If you can show me anywhere that I have said I'm a Calvinist I'd appreciate that. Thanks.

Whoa...My ride home was only about 25 mins and in that time there was a lot written! Whoa! OK, I'll take it from 1 Cor 1:23-24
"but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God."
So who believes? The Jews? No. Its a stumbling block to them. Truth be told, they don't want to believe. Then who believes? The Gentiles? Nope! Its foolishness or folly to them. Truth be told, they dont want to believe. If the Jews dont believe and the Gentiles dont believe, who believes? Ah! What does the inspired text say but..."those who are called, both Jews and Greeks" believe.
Now guys, we've gotten off topic. Lets get back on. The question has never been does some choose, but "why" do some choose and others dont. What is the answer from the Bible?

Again you are putting words in my mouth. Nowhere did I say you should stop talking and promoting God's Holy Word, nowhere did I... please show me where I said this?
Forgive me if the conclusion of you being a supporting member of the Calvinist body. But, I've seen you at work here.... and it sure looks like you are. Are you a Calvinist?

In the first passage, its talking about the Jews, in verse 16 they are the Gentiles....
Next time you see the painting...look and see if you notice what is NOT there.
I'm sorry bro, but I'm still not understanding what you're trying to say. Did you have a corralation to make between "Jesus knocking on people's heart" and "John 10?
