Did anyone else notice he seemed to be saying, "Glory to GOT!", rather than, "Glory to G-d!"?

There may be something to the prosperity doctrine after all; have you seen all the grease and gel that these guys use in their hair? If we could convert all that to fuel the energy crisis would be solved and we all would prosper with cheap gas.

:lol2 Yup! And then these guys leave the studio, hop into their Mercedes, go to the airport and get on their private jet and fly away to their gated community mansions.

All compliments of the "seed money".

A new series by John Macarthur on the prosperity gospel called, "A colossal fraud"

http://www.shepherdsfellowship.org/pulpit/Posts.aspx?ID=4459

(By John MacArthur)

Former NASDAQ chairman Bernie Madoff ran a ponzi-scheme swindle for nearly 20 years, and he bilked an estimated $18 billion from Wall-Street investors. When the scam finally came to light it unleashed a shockwave of outrage around the world. It was the largest and most far-reaching investment fraud ever.

But the evil of Madoff's embezzlement pales by comparison to an even more diabolical fraud being carried out in the name of Christ under the bright lights of television cameras on religious networks worldwide every single day. Faith healers and prosperity preachers promise miracles in return for money, conning their viewers out of more than a billion dollars annually. They have operated this racket on television for more than five decades. Worst of all, they do it with the tacit acceptance of most of the Christian community.

OWL - That video was excruciatingly painful to watch! Oh my goodness. How can so many people be so deceived by these scam artists?? I truly fear for them on the day of judgment. That was very disturbing!

I have caught that joker's dog and pony show a few times on TV. He is like all the other prosperity crooks in that he is predictable. They all play a one stringed instrument. Find some passage to twist that tells the gullible masses that God wants them rich.

I can't imagine going to church week after week and see the same pig in a different dress (message) every week. What's really sick is that it appeals to peoples greed and people would never admit that it doesn't work for fear of being labeled as not having enough faith. :tsk

I would love to see Paul walk through that mess of a church.
