Glad you noted that this article was a joke. I've seen to many things like it to assume it's not serious the first time around. But this was hilarious.

Norman Mailer once said "Paranoia and common sense merge as the world goes slowly insane"
(may not be an exact quote) That came to mind as I was reading this thread

LoudRam....
Removing Candle Wax:

From Carpet or fabric:
Place ice in a plastic bag and hold on the dripped wax...the ice makes the was brittle so you can break it and scrape it off... (if on clothes put the clothes item in the freezer to freeze the wax and flick away)

Or...
Take a brown paper bag and cut it into squares to cover the spot you want to clean...place a square over the wax, and take a med-hot iron and place the iron on the paper bag square over the wax-the wax transfers to the paperbag, repeat as needed. If a color residue stain remains when the wax is removed, take hydrogen peroxide and a sponge and blot the spot, let set 15 min and blot dry with papertowel. Repeat if stain needs additional lightening.

On candlesticks or dishes, etc....pour boiling water over wax (Or melt away with hair dryer)

I have a KILLER Household Magic book! :thumb :hehee
