WOW - What a quiet day. The biggest quake was a 4.8 and not a single 5.0 & over event. I have a bad feeling that when the other shoe drops this time it will be a doozie. I sure hope I am wrong though.

The USGS is being VERY slow in keeping their list up to date. Today's update post will appear in this space, but a little tater than usual so I don't have to wipe it all out and start over like I did yesterday.

Must be a freudian slip. I was thinking about supper when I typo'd it.

BTW - I will start the post in a little while. I just want to be able to
do it one time today. Not twice like yesterday when about 6 new
events appeared on the USGS list over an hour and a half into the new UTC day. :explode

It isn't just the USGS, but also IRIS, and RSOE showing activity grinding to a halt. Whats going on? Do they all post off of USGS? When did USGS start getting so slow?:scratch

How can y'all tell it's behind vs. no more quakes since whenever the last one was posted? :scratch

There is rarely less than a quake an hour and most times a little more. But when the update time on the USGS site shows 4 to 6 hours after the last posted quake time you can bet the farm that the list will fill in later. Last night I posted about 1-1/2 hours into the new UCS day and when I got done and went back to check the USGS site later and there were 6 more quakes listed than when I did my post. :tsk:panic:shocked
